Charged for wrong room

I have had this happen a few times recently and not sure what is happening, but I booked a particular room and paid for it in advance, only to be put in the wrong room. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk, she just said they were sold out and could not help me. Even though the parking lot was half empty and when I checked online showed the exact room still available. I think she just did not want to hassle with it. The point is, I can sleep in any room, but I am getting ripped off by paying more for one room and getting put in a room that cost less without being reimbursed or credited. Probably won't stay here again.

The front desk lady was wonderful! Everyone we encountered were kind and helpful. Our room was clean and quiet! The beds, pillows and sheets were amazing. The pool and hot tub were great! Also the restaurant was excellent! I can’t recommend this place enough it was so great!
