Room had an overwhelming bleach smell. Poor television channel options. Only had 4 stations to choose from to watch. The remote control didnt work. Every button you pushed changed a viewing option instead of doing what is was supposed to. The dresser top, desk top, ice bucket and remote were very sticky with an unknown substance. The smoke detector was missing with only the wires hanging out. Whole property neeeds upgraded, very ran down. Shower head was dirty so did not use it. I have stayed at Super 8 many times and this location was the worst I have every seen. Waist of my money. Very disappointing given that all the hotels around it are nice.

Don’t expect a shower

Check in was smooth, I found it to feel unsafe that anyone can walk in through the back or side doors instead of having to scan your room key. however, the biggest inconvenient and frustrating that I was very upset about was that the water was shut off on the second day of my booking from mid morning until past 10pm! Without any appropriate notice of this happening. When I called the front desk I was told the water heater was being replaced. I just didn’t appreciate having to deal with this and having to pay pretty much full rate but going without water without appropriate notice at all. Feels like I wasted my money and even though I was feeling unsafe.

I expected better with the Wyndem name attached. I stayed 3 nights - no room service - didn't even empty garbage. No smart TV; only analog. Had to change rooms because sink didn't work. Staff was helpful, even gave me an extra blanket. The included breakfast was excellent - even served eggs.

The front desk clerk provided excellent customer service - she was positive, polite, made good eye contact and was cheerful about our request for an extra blanket. The property was a little tired - the halls had an institutional feel but were clean and the room needed touchup paint in several places.

The check in experience was a bit odd. The girl at the front desk was sick and barely had a voice. I could also not tell if she had other health issues, or was tweaking. She seemed unable to concentrate and had difficulty checking me in. A bit bizarre and uncomfortable, honestly.
