The property and cabin were very well kept, convenient to town but far enough away to feel somewhat secluded. The only downside was that the front desk woman wasn’t the friendliest, and there was a $25 charge to check in two hours early despite the room already being cleaned and ready.

Was such a little retreat type getaway in the trees, but the rooms do have paper thin walls ( to sensitive ears) so you can hear walking, talking, etc. But everything else is lovely! Property is gorgeous.

The property and grounds were spectacular for a short getaway. We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin and had plenty of room for 3 adults. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful and Peaceful
Beautiful resort. There was a nice walking path, on-site dog-friendly dining, fire pit and an all around peaceful vibe. The room I stayed in seemed to be newly renovated, new carpets, very clean. The walls are thin so I could clearly hear the neighbor and hos toddler late into the night, but other than that, everything was perfect. Next time I will have an extended stay and rent a cabin.

Weekend Getaway
We had an excellent time at Tahquitz! What a beautiful property! We were a small group of family and friends (with two dogs) doing a weekend getaway before school started up again. We spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool and playing in the game room with the kids. The property is very dog friendly which we loved!

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The grounds were stunningly beautiful and meticulously maintained, providing a peaceful and scenic environment. The cabins were not only spotless but also thoughtfully equipped with modern technology, making the stay both comfortable and convenient. Amazing place. Beautiful location and resort itself, but few issues. TV was disconnected from the receiver. Thankfully I am techie so I was able to reconnect. AC controls were broken. Door wouldn't close unless I slammed it. Otherwise loved it and will be back, just different room hopefully.

Great dog friendly place with great amenities
The executive King room was big and spacious with a fridge (but no freezer area), coffee maker and microwave. The resort is really nice with great amenities like a game room with air hokey, pool, ping pong table & foosball. There is a pool, fire pits, pickle ball & basket ball courts. The restaurant is really nice with great food and drinks. Best of all its dog friendly and you can bring them everywhere in the resort even to the pool area as long as they are leashed and dogs stay for free. I would stay here again.

Tahquitz Pines Retreat is absolutely delightful and an incredible place for a mountain getaway. Clean, comfortable with a restaurant on-site, it truly feels like a retreat. I can't wait to stay again!
