Beautiful place. Arrived on a Sunday night in December and felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Super friendly lady at the front desk. Extremely convenient check in and check out as well as access to all the amenities. Less than a mile away from town. Highly recommend.

The property is located in a beautiful are 5 min from town. Our main complaint is that the cabins have paper thin walls and you can hear everything going on next door. Our neighbors decided to have a party or something and we could hear kids running around and yelling both outside and inside until about 2am and we could not sleep. I called and texted the hotel (including the after hours line) but no one ever responded. I get that this is not the hotels fault but there should be someone that could go over and ask people to not have a party at 1am.

The accommodation itself wasn’t bad. Since we arrived late for check-in, the accommodation manager allowed us to check in via phone, and we were assigned Room 29. We had booked a 3-bedroom unit, but when we arrived around 9 p.m., the room we were given was a studio with only one double bed. The accommodation manager was unresponsive, but there was an emergency contact number posted at the office. When we called, we were told there were no 3-bedroom units available, and they offered two 2-bedroom units instead. We agreed, but when we tried the provided password, the door wouldn’t open. We had to wait outside in the cold with young children for 30 minutes. The next day, when we went to the office to check out, the staff didn’t even offer an apology. Instead, they asked, “So, do you want a refund?” in a dismissive tone, which was very disappointing. For the record, we neither requested nor received a refund.

This entire property is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. But what we liked about it the most are all the amenities it has to offer. Basketball, pickleball, tennis courts, and a nice size swimming pool! Not to mention a very good restaurant on site. We will definitely come back here to stay while in Idyllwild.

Perfect getaway!
My family and I stayed there over Thanksgiving weekend for the annual Idyllwild tree lighting. We all absolutely loved this place! It was perfect for our family, it was nicely renovated, beautiful grounds,and it was very clean! We will definitely be back for longer stays!

Overall - Great experience on a very well-kept property. We would definitely stay here again. The amenities, rec room, basketball court, pool, etc. are great. Not a lot of interaction with staff, except check-in and check-out. Only recommendation I would make, when sending a text that room is ready for check-in to advise there's an additional $25 if early check-in.
