The hotel was clean for the most part. Staff was fairly friendly. The bed was horrible. It was broken and bowed in the middle. We barely got any sleep. Had we not gotten in so late we would have said something but we were so tired we just dealt with it. Will not stay here again.

It was Ok for a last minute stop. $105 for one night for 5 people. We got a suite, 2 beds and a pullout sofa bed. Sounded perfect. The sofa bed was broken, leaning to the side and the mattress was ridiculously thin and unsupportive. The staff was responsive when asked for bedding and such, but we had to go to the desk to get them. The room was clean, beds were mediocre at best, and the sheets sounded like they were made from loose leaf paper. It was right off the highway, by the airport, so noise was expected. The bathroom ceiling was crumbling and it looked like a blind man recaulked the bathtub. Its a place to sleep, quality of sleep differing depending on your sensibilities, but not much more.

There was a Stay America next door which looked like temporary housing for some shady people. Didn't feel safe. Check in was fine, but I asked for 2 beds and a sofa couch. We got to the room and there were 2 beds and a couch, but no linens for the couch. When we pulled it out, we determined that we wouldn't want to sleep on it anyways (old and dirty). The ceiling in the bathroom was cut up from repairs, but not patched. The whole place just felt in disrepair. We had an early flight and need to check out at 4:00 am. We went to the front desk and rang for an attendant. No one came. There was no drop box for the key so I pushed it under the office door. It was inexpensive, so you get what you pay for.

Less than expected

The stay was okay. The beds were hard, had a pull out couch that had no sheets or blankets, so had to request from the front desk. There was a bandaid over the smoke detector. There was a smell in the hallways. The wallpaper was peeling. There was rust in the pool area. There weren’t any towels in the pool area. The elevator license was expired. The pillows were terrible. The people behind the desk were pleasant. The breakfast food was mediocre.

Severely lacking

To start I reserved 2 rooms on the app. Only one was booked and the desk clerk refused to honor the price for my coworker, despite showing the double reservation receipt on the app to him. Cost us an extra 100+dollars. All the doors slam through out the building. Which is why I believe we both woke up every 2-2.5 hours each night, even though we were in separate areas. Did not get a decent night of sleep the entire 4 night stay. The Friday morning we managed to have breakfast was a let down. Biscuits were like rocks and the cereal was stale. Landscaping was haggard. Coworkers wall paper was peeling. I usually enjoy a stay at comfort inn. This however felt like a lower tier hotel.

Lobby and room were well kept. Chose this property after a long day on the road with kids because they had a pool, but once we were checked in, I was told the Pool was out of order so we checked out and found another place.

Shower head leaked sprayed everywhere! The toilet seat was loose.. The pullout bed was horrible! Kids couldn't even sleep on it! Someone must of spilled food or something on the bed, they cleaned the fitted sheet..but didnt clean the mattresses pad! It was all crusty.. nasty! I left notes in the room for house keeping.. plus i told front office staff.

The stay was fine. The only oddity was the elevator was not working one night when I came back to the hotel. I don’t know if they shut it off on purpose or if it was broken? Thankfully, it worked fine when I checked out the next day.

Touch of modern needed

Biscuits and gravy both mornings, along with your standard cereals, waffles, yogurt, fruit, assorted breads/muffins, juices, coffee. Not bad. Bed comfortable. All staff we came across were friendly. The whole place definitely needs upgrades and remodeling. We stay at Comfort Suites occasionally in Fort Wayne, which rooms and most of hotel have been remodeled. We were expecting the same here, but carpeting, furniture, everything has been around quite awhile. I don't recall the pictures showing these rooms - I don't remember them being so dark on the app. Rooms however, very spacious! No pictures of room, but did include a few of bathroom.
