Loved the pool it had changing colors in it very clean. Rooms was spacious and clean Loved the shower head . Staff very friendly. Good variety of breakfast items. Nice comfy beds and room was nice and cold ..close to many restaurants and gas stations walking distance. Dog friendly

Numerous reviews stated this was a very clean place to stay. I very much disagree. Upon arriving to our room, the smell of old smoke and mildew was extremely obvious. I thought about asking to switch rooms, but we were with a group that had their room across from us and I assumed all the other rooms would smell the same. We went to the dollar store and got Lysol and febreeze. The shower had nasty mold in the caulk. The AC unit at the end of the hall had mold all in the vent. The pool was nice and warm and the kids loved that. Breakfast ended at 9am on a Saturday which seems really early. This was the most reasonable hotel in the area for a funeral we were going to, but I would not be able to stay there more than one night.

This property is grossly misrepresented in Expedia! It is not a hotel, just a cheap dingy motel off the highway! Please create a separate category for motels! We were tricked into believing this is a hotel!!!!’

Breakfast was okay. Very basic. The staff was wonderful. Very clean. The problem was the humidity in our room. It smells like mildew as soon as we walked into our room. They need to invest in some dehumidifiers. But the pool was great!! Like bath water and my kids had so much fun

Great Value and Unbeatable Location! My recent stay at the EconoLodge was a pleasant surprise, especially considering the affordable prices. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option that doesn't skimp on convenience, this is definitely the place to consider. One of the biggest selling points of this EconoLodge is its prime location. It truly is the closest hotel to the casino, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to hit the tables without a long commute. Beyond the casino, we found ourselves within easy reach of a fantastic array of restaurants, catering to various tastes, heated pool and several parks were just a short drive away, offering a nice escape. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and efficient, and we really couldn't ask for more given the cost. If you're planning a trip to Shelbyville , Indiana, where proximity to entertainment, dining, and outdoor activities is key, and you want to keep your accommodation costs down, the EconoLodge is a top contender. We'd certainly stay here again!

Beds aren’t the most comfortable but staff was friendly and the pool was warm, breakfast was sufficient and the property was convenient for my needs. Older location but definitely kept up and you can see the effort.

For the price range the property was fantastic! Breakfast was good, rooms were clean, and everything looked upgraded. No elevator was the only downside and really that wasn’t awful. Staff was friendly and seamed like a well lit parking lot.

We like the location convience to the Casino and Racetrack. The AC didn't work correctly and it sounded like it was raining in the room all night The hot breakfast was very good

I liked the indoor pool. Wish there was an overflow jacuzzi section of the pool. Breakfast was good. Dining area was kept clean & presentable. Truck traffic was noisy. 3 pane windows would reduce the noise considerably. Would have liked trash pickup & new towels provided every day. By my request, my mattress was turned to provide a more comfortable sleep.
