We stayed two nights in a double room. For the price, the stay was less than satisfactory. The pool water was murky as if there wasn’t enough chorine in the water with floating objects. The decor was outdated and there was a musty smell throughout the facility. The beds were uncomfortable and the general appearance was unwelcoming.
The air quality was musty. The bathroom faucet was very short i couldnt hardly wash my hands without getting water all over the counter. The entrance into the room so was narrow and blocked i could barley get my bags through. The breakfast was cold. The walls are very thin as i heard other guest loudly outside the room from the window and the door. The beds are extremely firm. The side door didnt even have a working key entrance to it. If you wanted to use the door better block it with the wet floor sign they have next to it.
The pillows were nice and so was the staff.
Took 15 mins to check in with oy 1 person ahead of us. Room was dated. We got a handicapped room which we did not request. Bed hard as a rock and shower was pitiful. Worst Hampton we have stayed at.
Room was nice. Someone left their shoes in the room, tub was narrow and felt unsafe when u stepped in. My husband thought I was crazy until he took his shower.
The first room I was given smelled strongly of smoke a vape. The second room was dark and dreary. It had terrible lighting. Poor drywall patchwork on the walls. Decor seemed mismatched.
The only complaint was the lay out of breakfast and possibly the bed. I stayed last month at hi in Lafayette and noticed the bed wasn't the quality I'm used to at a HI..this stay the bed was better but still not the same as a decade ago. I really remember a better quality and an advertisement about their beds.
Hotels .com needs to update your website. We specifically went to the Hampton because Hotels.com said they had a hot tub. So we paid extra to stay there. Get there no hot tub.
We booked this hotel for a Christmas gathering for a night of swimming and hitting. When we got there, there was no hot tub, even though the website clearly showed one. This is false advertising and shouldn't be allowed to stay open.
