While the hotel itself was "meh" (elevators were broken, room cleanliness was sub optimal, breakfast and coffee were rarely refreshed, the traffic noise was loud and the construction nearby made it difficult for Uber to find, etc) the front desk service more than made up for it! A big shoutout to John for all of his help in ensuring that my 6 day stay was better than it could have been. He made me feel comfortable and safe, and was always polite and professional in every interaction and communication.

Convenient location for downtown activities. Elevator was broken during visit. Close/secure parking is very limited. There is an overflow lot, but it did not feel particularly safe. If you’re looking for a decent value for price to stay downtown, this is satisfactory.

Got to the motel, water main break the day before, could not park in the garage, got a parking ticket, we were told they would take care of it, elevator did not work, had to climb 3 flights of stairs, woke up Sunday morning to shower no hot water, paid 300 dollars for this room, never again. Contacted main office, still no word from them. 😡

The elevator did not work, I have a disabled sister and had to carry her to the third floor. Also, the parking lot is good for 14 spaces. On orbitz it says free parking but that’s only for their limited 14 spaces. We had one towel for three people and they never brought me extras after I called and asked.

It's close to downtown, but not in the nicest area. It has free parking. It is an old building, with a tiny old elevator.

The hotel itself is fine. However, they had a water line and flooding issue, so they asked all guests to check out immediately. I was insured by the hotel manager that I would get a full refund. After spending 2 hours on the phone with Expedia support, (mostly on hold) I was told in order to process my full refund, I will have to pay a $486.08 cancellation fee. I shouldn't have to pay anything! I couldn't even stay at the hotel.

After the first night of a three night stay the hotel had no water or elevator service. The clerk informed us after we asked the water might be on the following day. We asked if he could help us find other accommodations and the gentleman on duty said he couldn't help us. We were told to get our belongings and he would check us out. We had to lug our bags down a stairwell because the elevator was not working either, we were offered no help with that either. I then attempted to contact Expedia to find other accommodations or a refund but I found that to be impossible. We searched the internet and finally found a phone number but that ran us around and then disconnected the call five times in a row. We had to end our trip because we did not want to book another room not knowing if we would get a refund on the room we had already paid for. Thank you Expedia and La Quinta for ruining our trip!
