WOW! This is really the only place to stay in Interlaken. The property is beautiful inside and out! The picture does not do it justice. Be taken back to a time of opulence and service. The free breakfast buffet is delicious and extensive. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Both the lady at the front desk and the concierge went out of their way to help my husband and I. The concierge even walked outside to the edge of the property to show us exactly where to walk to go to the boat tour! Best concierge ever! Our balcony overlooked the main street and was so fun to sip hot chocolate on while watching the town go by. The mini bar is free also. I cannot recommend this property highly enough!

Even though we have a normal room, we still able to see the mountain from the opening window. Location is right on the water , and a bit of out the central which is 5 minutes walking distance. Breakfast offer a variety of options. My favorite are the juices choice !

Do not stay at this hotel! The room we got for 3 people was very small. The third bed was an armchair convertable. There was no room to open it. The rooms had no airconditioner. It was horrible.

This is an elegant, period building, the rooms are large and spacious. We had room 308 on the front of the hotel which gave us a balcony with a Mountain View. Because it is an old building, it does not have aircon. It was hot while we were there, but we were able to sleep with the windows open and the fan on; there is a road at the front of the hotel, but iit is very quiet and nothing happens after 10.30! We had B@B but lunch and evening meals are available. The breakfast buffet is excellent - including sparkling wine!The hotel staff are very helpful and everyone speaks excellent English. The housekeeping is excellent. We stayed for 7 nights; the sheets and robes were changed three times while we were there. The mini-bar contents are included in the cost and are replenished every day - I enjoyed the half bottle of Prosecco every evening after a day in the mountains. The hotel is 5 minutes walking from Interlaken Ost train station and boat station so getting around is very easy. I would recommend getting the Swiss Trail Pass as it gives free travel on trains, boats and buses, and discounts on some of the mountain routes.
