It's a nice hotel that just needs an update. The staff was nice but the rooms and facility are just a bit dated. It's fine for the price. It is a short walk to John Wayne airport.

Good location, large room but that's about it.
The hotel is attractive enough but lacks some really basic things: Bathrooms have only ONE bar of soap and two small bottles of shampoo. Front desk refused to give me another bar of soap. Bathroom had only ONE large towel. Room was large and fairly clean but the AC system was noisy and unstable. Breakfast cost $19.00 which consisted of disgusting fried eggs that looked like they had been cooked, frozen and defrosted, gross looking bacon strips, a self-service waffle maker, crusted with filthy batter and looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks, 3 or 4 types of sliced bread that was so stale, a slice actually snapped apart like a cookie when I picked it up, hard as rock bagels, mystery jam, little packs of apple sauce, two types of old cereal with milk in pitchers that were not chilled, so the milk was warm and probably poisonous. The only good thing was the coffee. In all fairness, I complained about the disappointing breakfast and they did not charge me for it - esp. since all I really ended up having was a cup of coffee. The lobby has an InstaChef food dispenser which is essentially a vending machine that spits out hot prepared meals. I didn't dare try it (see pic). If you need snacks and supplies, use the gas station literally next door. Staff was very nice and polite but limited in what they could do to accommodate guests for things like soap and towels.

Very spartan rooms. Not even a mini fridge in the dual queen size room. Breakfast you have to pay for. Seems like those two amenities should be offered for what I’m paying. Very disappointing. I have started here for business and it seems that conditions are deteriorating.

Stay was fine except the brunch. $20/person, and there were out of thing 1 hour into breakfast. Waffle maker and toaster didn't work. Cold eggs, bad coffee, no Téa or hot water. In the end the breakfast was, at best, worth $5/person. Not $20! Most hotels would have included a breakfast like this in the hotel price.

I completely disliked my stay in this hotel since the minute I checked in. The customer service in front desk was terrible, it was not professional at all. The guy was very aggressive and short answered. We asked him for directions on how to get to the room and he gave us attitude didn’t even look at us as he was speaking. I asked the guy for a walk in shower and as I got to my room I noticed he gave me the complete opposite. I didn’t feel comfortable enough to ask for a walk in shower again since he was aggressive since the minute we checked in. The room was probably the oldest room they had in the hotel the bathtub was peeled and it looked dirty and the restroom had a weird smell. He also didn’t give us toothbrushes and toothpaste like we asked. Overall, my stay here was awful and not pleasant.
