Some confusion with there being three hotels in the hotel chain nearby and having to check in at one location but stay at another.

Clean but Too Noisy to Sleep

Pros: - Clean, minimal room - Breakfast (served at Hótel Ísafjörður) was very good Cons: - No cooling system, so in summer you need the window open, which makes the street noise (often past 2am) very loud. - Blackout shades don’t block much light, and with a streetlight outside the window, our room stayed bright. - No reception on-site; check-in and assistance are handled at Hótel Ísafjörður around the corner Overall: We would recommend staying at Hótel Ísafjörður instead.

Hot, no aircon, no windows and A TV that didn't work and they we not interested in fixing it.Very old fashion , no charm. location fine ,very expensive for what you received.

The hotel room we had was quite small. We had a queen and twin bunk beds. Not much extra space to move around. What helped a lot was the shared living area on our floor for units to share. There was a table and chairs that we used to eat dinner and play games. The included breakfast was excellent! It is in the main hotel but it is so close by.

A night in Isafjordur

This is a good tourist class hotel, clean and warm, good bed, good bathroom and secure. No issue here at all, reception and breakfast are across the road which isn't ideal but other than that it's fine. The snow in the morning was a nice touch!

A great place in the center of town! Very walkable to anywhere in the city. The room was comfortable and we loved the large windows and the breakfast was amazing!

The Hotel Horn was convenient to downtown, and we had a nice, spacious room, which was greatly appreciated after a few of the smaller rooms we'd been in. The room was clean, and quiet at the time we were there. We had an excellent view from our room. It is somewhat confusing that the check-in is at a different building that's a block away. That hotel was hard to access because there was some construction in the area. Not a big deal but at the end of a long day's drive it was a downer to have to figure that one out. It might be useful to have an instruction sign at the Horn property giving details about check-in. We were on the third floor at were sort of amused and wary of the lift - rather old-school. But it worked and we had a good, if too short, stay in the lovely town. The location is good, as it is an easy walk to either the harbor area, or some of the newer parts of the town.

The breakfast buffet had a really nice spread, and the hotel is in the center of town. Great place to stop and leave the car to walk to dinner or grab a drink.

What a great property- had to check in for this hotel at another hotel which was confusing and parking was limited but otherwise - locked entry so felt very safe - big gorgeous windows and thick blackout blinds- big room- comfortable bed- wonderful option in this northern town

Confusing checkin

The check was at a different hotel, but the email used a different hotel name than Google or other maps show and did not provide directions, just the comment "a short walking distance". It would be helpful to list all names the hotel goes by and to give specific address instructions for check in.
