Other hotels in the price bracket are better.

Staff kind and friendly, but the property very over priced compared to Amara Cay next door. Having stayed prior days at Amara, La Siesta was really underwhelming. The room we stayed in was also blighted by the buildings air conditioning units being the other side of the wall from our bed heads. it was like being on an aeroplane all night - not the best when paying significant money for a suite. The bedroom was stuffy and plain.

Nice hotel but service but below standard service

Nice looking resort, but very slow service. Reported broken toilet flush but no one serviced for 2 days. Nearest restaurant in a sister property 0.3 miles away, so takes couple of hours to receive in room dining. There was no hot water one evening, which we didn’t even report given no one is paying attention.

It was a beautiful property & they provided bikes, kayaks & paddle boards. However there were a few maintenance things that took awhile to get done. The staff though at the desk were wonderful & helpful. They also had a free shuttle which was super convenient.

There were 3 people.Huge suite room, partial ocean view, quiet place and close to restaurants. Shuttle bus is a plus. Nice place to stay! We will definitely come back.

I overpaid for unit 412. There was no elevator and had to walk up and down a dangerous stairwell while holding my babies. The room was delapidated, felt like I was paying 800 a night for a motel. Place advertised a bar but only served wine and beer. Place advertised oceanfront view but was poolside partial ocean view. Place said it slept 6 but the pull out bed from the dirty couch was in terrible condition and my guests slept awfully. Paint was chipping off the old walls and furniture and on the balcony. Lastly, the room next to mine was blasting music and being loud and obnoxious, keeping my babies awake and upset. Is was a bad experience and felt like I overpaid based on my experiences and what competitiors are offering.

Very Nice Accommodations in Islamorada, Florida

The accommodations was very spacious with a kitchen sink, Microwave and a Refrigerator . Being able to take a was also a pleasant surprise.

Room was a little dated and bathroom fan did not work. Lights started dying out mid stay. Wasn’t aware of resort fee until we arrived, so that was a surprise expense ($60 a day). We did enjoy the rum runner boat and shuttle for transportation between sister resorts. Breakfast at the hotel did not see worth the cost so we opted out of that. Coffee shop down the road was great though. Pool was decent and views of the water were very nice. Water st the beach was mostly seaweed so not much place to swim in the water so we visited Three Waters for a better beach experience.
