The staff were great! We ordered food at the lodge and the chef was amazing. My son and I had a drink in the lounge area. The views of the river and warm hospitality, made our stay.

The property itself is beautiful. Its a hard view to beat! We had some issues during our stay though. The beds are very uncomfortable. One of the mattresses in our room would sink completely in when we laid in it. The pillows didn't have any pillow sheets on them when we arrived but they were piled on the bed instead. Not sure if this is common practice or not but not a huge deal. Our last night there was some music being blared from the bar/lobby area. It went ALL NIGHT. Who thinks thats okay? Like i said the view is hard to beat but everything else was lackluster. Not sure we'd stay here again.

As close to the river as you can get…

Only FEET from the river and right off the highway. Only complaint was the mattress on the bed was not comfortable at all. First one on this week trip to feel bad on outperform backs. Both of us did not sleep well and complained in the morning. Too bad. Great location.
