I stayed here with my kids for a night as we were transiting to Canada. The front desk staff Mustafa was amazing and very welcoming. He made sure our taxi was booked for the airport the next day, gave us directions to where we wanted to go and suggested a few lovely places to dine at. The property itself is very clean and well maintained, located in a beautiful picturous area with lots of restaurant options and easily walkable to most of the tourist areas. I genuinely wish we had more time to stay there for longer but I'm sure we'd come back very soon. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

This hotel was perfectly situated for what we wanted to do in Istanbul. Close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cistern. Easy walk to Grand Bazaar. The Concierge/Reception was brilliant. We asked about Bosphorus cruises and he advised us well giving us several brochures and not pushing a particular one on us. The room was great - with a great view from the terrace - to the Bosphorus. Local restaurants were an easy walk and offered good selections of well prepared food.

They overcharged me once my stay was over. I had paid for the hotel through Expedia, and according to the hotel’s ad on expedia, the hotel was supposed to include drinking water in that payment. But at the end of my stay they claimed that the drinking water should be paid for, and they were not particularly polite about it. I took it as dishonesty. Besides, the front desk clerk wasted more than 30 minutes of my time. On top of all, they would insist on discussing political issues and news with me, which is very weird!

Very good hotel, with easy walkable access to the main historical monuments in Istanbul. The only issue was the breakfast selection and quality, the hotel needs to improve the breakfast

We found the place incredibly convenient. Literally steps away from the most important parts of Istanbul. The receptionist and the bell boy were super helpful always. The room was clean and with a feel of luxury, very illuminated and with a small desk and tea service. We absolutely loved it. We read some reviews about being scammed by the taxi recommendations so we booked our own taxi and avoided this problem so we can´t say much about that. We highly recommend the hotel, by far much better than the average you can get for the same price.

Excellent service from staff Jafer &great location
I enjoyed my stay here. The location was perfect for blue mosque, Sofia Hagia, Grabd Bazaar etc with lots of lovely roof top eateries nearby. In particular however what stood out for this property was the daytime service staff at reception - Jafer. He went above and beyond to ensure I had a lovely time, to recommend suitable tours and to be honest about places to visit and the most efficient and affordable way to do so. I think that Jafer was the stand out service superstar

Management block air-conditioning. Complained and nothing done. Its a must for this climate and ruins sleep which spoils the stay. Enough alternative hotels to not have to put up with this type of service.

...again another fantastic stay in Istanbul at the Biz Cevhir hotel. All the staff are polite, friendly and professional. Everything was facilitated for us sich as taxi transfers and tours. Cant say enough good thing's about Turkeye, Istanbul and the Biz Cevahir!!

My recent stay at this hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The room was the highlight, spacious with a large terrace, but the peacefulness was overshadowed by several drawbacks. Firstly, the laundry service was outrageously expensive - $50 for a bag of clothes and $7 per underwear. This felt like price gouging, especially with an inexpensive laundromat nearby. The room cleanliness was mediocre, falling short of expectations. The breakfast was a letdown with stale offerings like mystery juice and a two-day-old cheese plate, though the coffee was decent. The front desk staff mistakenly accused me in front of my companion of having a declined payment, suggesting we had to vacate the room. This error, later rectified as a mix-up with another guest, was both awkward and unprofessional. The shuttle service to the airport was unreliable, arriving an hour late. This could be a significant inconvenience for those with tight travel schedules. Do not let them make you pay more than 35 euro for the shuttle, otherwise just install the local taxi app BiTaxi. Overall, while my stay was enhanced by personal reasons, the hotel itself didn't offer great value for the price. It felt comparable to a LaQuinta in Istanbul. I wouldn't strongly recommend this place, but it's not the worst option available. If you're considering staying here, be prepared for a few disappointments and weigh your options carefully.
