Exceptional service!

I was treated so well at this hotel! The concierge staff was super helpful -- they accommodated all of my requests and gave me a great overview of what to do in Istanbul. Truly exceptional service. The location is unbeatable! You can't get better if you looking to book in Sultanahmet. The hotel is close to all of the key touristy sites, but it's on its own, quiet side street, so it is not loud at all. It's also just around the corner from the T1 metro stop and a short walk to many different restaurants (touristy and non-touristy), as well as the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market. I suggest booking one of the bigger rooms, because the smaller rooms can run small. The breakfast was good -- nice variety, something for everyone.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Hotel is beautiful and in an excellent area for visiting major attractions. Wi-fi could be better but that’s a minor complaint as we really didn’t spend much time needing it. The breakfast is exceptional. We would definitely stay again!!

The location of the hotel is simply perfect, conveniently situated near a tram station. Iconic landmarks such as Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar are all just a 10-minute walk away. The staff is exceptionally friendly and always willing to assist, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

For the price and stars they can do better. They do not provide proper amenities. No conditioner, lotion, iron, etc. The gel and shampoo they provided were terrible. The hair dryer was not working and there was nothing they could do. The breakfast was ok. No proper coffee and they ran out of stuff. The bald guy incharge of breakfast was terrible and no one smiled. The saving points were the reception staff and the location. For the price and star rating, it's not what it seems.

The hotel room window had a full view of the Blue Mosque and was quite beautiful at night. The staff were excellent. Extremely quick and thorough. Breakfast buffet was delicious and had a more than adequate array of food. It’s close to the Metro which we used extensively. Very clean. Room service inexpensive and amazingly quick. We rate this a 5 star experience. We travel extensively and Carina Gold did not fail

Super stay in great hotel

Carina Hold Hotel was very nice, excellent location, great service throughout and comfortable room and beds. I do love a continental breakfast so the lack of pastries was a minor quibble but the range at breakfast was still great and can’t fault the hotel for any aspect of the stay. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel location is great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They assisted me and my family in arranging airport transfer.The room and bathroom were quite small, and I was surprised to find that the rooms did not have air conditioning. The breakfast was good, although the menu was the same every day.

It is an updated hotel with modern facilities in a good area with a lot of attractions within walking distance. I can't find anything wrong with it. The area is very busy, so it is hard to hail taxis at good rate (they all decline Uber & Bitaksi rates and tell you astronomically high rates). But the front desk can arrange taxis for a very reasonable rates. I urge everyone to take taxis arranged by them instead of doing it on your own.
