Rooms may be a bit small but with comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast at the terrace was excellent with magnificent views of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and the old town. The waiters there are very helpful and they took me many photos with the views. The area is safe, you can easily walk to the main attractions.

I am not sure if it's just how it is in Istanbul, as most things here were very expensive despite being low quality, but given how expensive this hotel is, it was underwhelming. The breakfast buffet was very mediocre (for example, no toaster for all the untoasted bread), the rooms were ok but had an old dirty carpet, and the toilet had a very noisy fan. Can't compare to other hotels in the city, but compared to the standard you get for example in Asia, this wasn't worth what you paid.

Overall excellent experience, really prime location as everything is pretty much walking distance such as hagia sofia, blue mosque, topkapi palace, basilica cistern. Metro station is not more than 2 mins walk which is a plus if youre looking to travel to places such as grand bazar dilmabache palace etc. you can get a istanbul pass from kiosks (150 lira) and charge it to be able to use it on the metro

Very good location, close to grand bazar, walking distance to metro station , friendly staff ,Mr mosa in reciption was very helpful and polite, roof top breakfast was fantastic and tasty food but breakfast supervisor behaviour was unprofessional (one day I took a small piece of cake to eat on my way he quickly approached to me and with very rude manner said look; there is a camera here you are not allowed to take it outside the restaurant 🤔very unprofessional behaviour)I believe he needs more training, otherwise all other staff were very nice and dutiful,totally we had a great time in golden horn hotel and it was fantastic 🙏

The location of the property was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. Otherwise, AC was very loud and not cooling properly. Furniture in room was also slightly outdated. No converter plugs were available, or iron or ironing board.

Central location, but walking up and down hills on uneven surface. Taxi didn't want to drive by waivy, narrow, crowded old streets, or wanted twice or triple metter prices.Buildings renovations nearby. Knowing that we stay only for 2 nights and get to hotel in around 10pm- we were assigned to cheaper and smaller room, then we booked via Expedia web. Front desk older guy talked to us with frustration. Lobby and Room decor is nice, but shows wear and tear signs.Breakfast is good. Feel like overpaid for stay and entitled for a refund in price between booked deluxe room and staying in standart room fees.

As a solo traveler I loved this property. It was convenient to all of the major sites and public transportation. Musa at the front desk made sure I had his contact number in case I need assistance while touring the city. The hotel was lovely and an amazing view from the rooftop. They did recommend the evening river boat cruise, which was more like a nightclub on the water, which I did not enjoy. But everything else about my stay and their hospitality was excellent!!!

The hotel is in good place, you can walk to lots of attractions places. There are alot of restaurants around and transport like tram, trains and buses. The reception is helpful if you want to get a taxis with reasonable prices to the airport. Musa the receptionists is very friendly and always helpful. Thx for the welcoming environment 🙂.
