Very good location, close to grand bazar, walking distance to metro station , friendly staff ,Mr mosa in reciption was very helpful and polite, roof top breakfast was fantastic and tasty food but breakfast supervisor behaviour was unprofessional (one day I took a small piece of cake to eat on my way he quickly approached to me and with very rude manner said look; there is a camera here you are not allowed to take it outside the restaurant 🤔very unprofessional behaviour)I believe he needs more training, otherwise all other staff were very nice and dutiful,totally we had a great time in golden horn hotel and it was fantastic 🙏

The location of the property was great and staff were very friendly and helpful. Otherwise, AC was very loud and not cooling properly. Furniture in room was also slightly outdated. No converter plugs were available, or iron or ironing board.

Central location, but walking up and down hills on uneven surface. Taxi didn't want to drive by waivy, narrow, crowded old streets, or wanted twice or triple metter prices.Buildings renovations nearby. Knowing that we stay only for 2 nights and get to hotel in around 10pm- we were assigned to cheaper and smaller room, then we booked via Expedia web. Front desk older guy talked to us with frustration. Lobby and Room decor is nice, but shows wear and tear signs.Breakfast is good. Feel like overpaid for stay and entitled for a refund in price between booked deluxe room and staying in standart room fees.

As a solo traveler I loved this property. It was convenient to all of the major sites and public transportation. Musa at the front desk made sure I had his contact number in case I need assistance while touring the city. The hotel was lovely and an amazing view from the rooftop. They did recommend the evening river boat cruise, which was more like a nightclub on the water, which I did not enjoy. But everything else about my stay and their hospitality was excellent!!!

The hotel is in good place, you can walk to lots of attractions places. There are alot of restaurants around and transport like tram, trains and buses. The reception is helpful if you want to get a taxis with reasonable prices to the airport. Musa the receptionists is very friendly and always helpful. Thx for the welcoming environment 🙂.

Wonderful Hotel
The corner room was spectacular with the Blue Mosque right outside our window. We loved the total experience. The hotel decor made us feel like we were staying in the Ottoman dynasty. The staff was fantastic, and we will stay there again in our next visit to Istanbul. Sarya and Adnan, two of the many hotel associates were great.

Everything from booking with online discussions with Sarya was very helpful. Check-in went perfect with outstanding service from all staff. The hotel is beautiful and the view from the terrace restaurant was the BEST. Adnan, a hotel associate who went way beyond his job duties to help us must be recognized. The location is first rate. There are plenty of restaurants close by as well as public transportation to the bazaars and waterways. Lots of sites within walking distance - it couldn't have been better. The hotel is dated and worn. It is clean without question but I would say it is a travelers hotel. There is a nice selection of breakfast items and juices in a large dining room which was a plus. Staff was always helpful and an extra bonus is the luggage scale - great for the souviners we added to our baggage! I wouldn't say the AC was broken but felt more like a swap cooler in the rooms that a traditional AC. The weather was gorgeous and the windows open easily which turned out to be perfect for us!

A good place to stay while exploring Istanbul, close to all the historical places , also staff is very helpful and good mannered, the cleaning lady was keeping our room tidy and clean . If you want to book any tours you can just go to the reception staff and they will sort you out . Worth staying.👍
