Fantastic Hotel

Where do I start? My husband and I absolutely LOVE this hotel. What makes it amazing is the staff and mgmt. truly outstanding service and they try to go above and beyond to surprise the guests and keep us engaged and happy. Special managers that are superb: Bulent Colak & Nilgun … they got to know us and made us feel so welcome. Definitely must return next time we are in Turkey. Divan is an excellent brand!

Good hotel in a good location. Very close to airport bus stop and to the metro. Lots of eating places and shops nearby. The spa was great, loved the pool. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices however, the service was very disjointed. I was there for 9 days and it never got any better. The way they served the coffee, tea was so disorganised. It was difficult to get a second cup without having to try and stop one of the employees. There was no offer to top up the drinks at all. One morning I requested a Turkish coffee which I was told was an extra charge, I said OK to that but it NEVER came. After 20minutes I got up and left. Similarly if you ask for the made to order eggs such as an omelette it took way too long to arrive. My husband had finished his breakfast by the time it did eventually arrive. They need more staff and better drinks organisation. The staff were all over the place instead of working a section which was really needed in this very busy breakfast room. If they can sort the breakfast service out I would have given this hotel a better rating because overall our stay there was very good.

Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was especially nice. Staff were discreet. Area around is great. Close to Taksim Square and shops but without the craziness of Istanbul tourist area. Only a couple of issues. They don’t have face towels and/or anything to wipe the sink after use. Asked for small towels and housekeeping was very confused. Also, not sure if it’s a cultural thing but everytime I asked front desk staff questions, they give me a funny look and answered looking at my husband. Happened a few times which we noticed.
