Great property and friendly staff but there was an issue with our toilet that was unable to be fixed during our stay so we were without a toilet. We had an adjoining room with family but I'm not sure what we would have done if that were not the case.

This is my first time in Turkiye and I really loved everything there. For the quiet and clean area. People in Türkiye are very friendly. I loved the food; it was excellent. I didn't feel very safe in the area of ​​the hotel where I stayed. What I didn't like much was that they smoke a lot. I'd like to go back soon.

Found hotel very nice. Staff were amazing. From font desk to the cleaning staff. All very polite and friendly. Would highly recommend. Night life can be a bit noisy and close to mosque when prayers start at 5am if window left open. But overall great.

Perfect place to stay if you want all major visitors sites close. We walked to all major attractions. If you need to use transportation, there is near by tram station that is well connected to metro, through funicular. Hotel is clean and staff and service great. Highly recommended

This is my second stay at this hotel and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Istanbul, as the value for money that you get in GLK is quite remarkable. It's right in the city touristy centre and places like Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque are withon 5 mins walk through streets lined with shops and restaurants. The rooms are very cosy, with great beds and reasonably ok soundproofing - although you still hear other people doors and occasional convos. Buffet breakfast is great, but turkish coffee costs extra. We quite enjoyed the hamam, to the point that we didn't get to use much of the jacuzzi in the room. What made this property stand out for me was the kindness and helpfulness of their staff: they are always there for you, they speak various languages (both English and Russian worked a treat for me) and they are always there to help with any questions, be that parking or bookings. I will definitely stay again when exploring Istanbul.
