Great hotel to stay between flights. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, amazing breakfast, a lot of local shops and restaurants around. Taxi to airport will cost you around $15 with tips. Great opportunity to see real Turkey.

Booked this hotel for my in laws. They had an excellent experience. Very clean rooms, excellent service, convenient location close to airport with very easy instructions for their free shuttle. Lots to do and eat nearby with beautiful mosque. Would highly recommend!

We arrived in Istanbul after midnight and the Grand Hamit had free transportation from the airport. Then a large breakfast buffet in the morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we would stay here again. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

We just need to stay overnight nearby the airport. Grand hamit offers the free shuttle service for pick up and drop off at the airport. I really appreciate that they have five complimentary bottle waters in the room. Very short walking distance to the grocery store and convenience stores.

The first room I was given was freezing cold, so I was moved to another room, which unfortunately was much smaller. This smaller room was a disappointment.
