This is a very well managed hotel. Staff is friendly, and it's a beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. About a 10-minute walk to Taxsim square. The bathroom could use just a little bit more maintenance, in particular the bathtub shower faucet. Overall, this was a good experience and I would consider staying here again.

The roof top bar has excellent views coupled with good music. Our food left a little to be desired. The food took awhile to arrive, and by then the fries were no longer hot. The rice and vegetables entre had the rice overpowering the vegetables which needed to be larger pieces with better seasoning.

Easy excess to public transport and lots of places to dine only if you are non vegetarian. Being a five star hotel it didn't have good dining options for vegetarian. Overall this hotel is good option if you're planning on staying in Taksim square.

Good location with a view overlooking the Bosphorus. Excellent gym facilities. Nice restaurants, bar and lounge service. The area is a bit noisy with sirens and the traffic outside is nonstop.

I visit Istanbul often and prefer to stay at Intercontinental because of its location and spacious rooms. However the rooms are dated and the air conditioning makes a whistling sound before starting which made our stay a bit annoying. That said, I still think it is a great hotel at the most convenient location.
