Highly recommended.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lionel hotel, it had parking and friendly staff. Despite a slight misunderstanding at check in all was resolved by the hotel manager Zara, even giving us a discounted upgrade and free breakfast for a day. It was comfortable and the hotel is fairly up to a good standard, better than many 5 star hotels in Istanbul we have stayed in. The only improvement that could be made is the charges involved in bringing up certain things to the room which should be free at a 5 star hotel. The spa facilities were great and the rooms were always cleaned to a good standard, thanks to the cleaning team! Would definitely recommend

I had to fight for the vip access perks and did not get upgrade or bottle of drink. They even lied to Expedia saying they did give it to me when they refused and it was recorded in my chat with Expedia. Very dishonest people. Ruined my holiday

I wasn't given the soft punch except on one booking even thought every booking I should have received it. I had to constantly fight for the vip access upgrade because even though they had availability they kept hesitating and taking g time to decide if I will be upgraded. On arrival for night I was refused upgrade even though I had vip access. I would stsy

Alot of headache and stress with regards to vip access and room upgrade. Felt antagonised for requesting room upgrade and being told different things. I was upgraded by guest relations eventually but only after numerous calls requests between hotel and Expedia and constant back and forth. Very exhausting and spoiled my holiday. This has never happened at any other hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed with the experience. First off, the check-in process was a nightmare. It took forever, and the staff seemed completely disorganized. Poor English as well.. By the time I finally got to my room, I was already frustrated. But the worst was yet to come. The room itself was far from clean. The housekeepers clearly didn’t do their job properly—dust was visible on surfaces, and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in days. To make matters worse, the room was full of mosquitoes, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. For the price they charge, I expected much better. Honestly, this place feels more like a 3-star hotel, and even that might be generous. It’s way too expensive for nothing special. I would definitely not recommend staying here.

My family and I stayed here in July 2024 and had a great experience. The staff is nice, friendly, and polite. If you want to use the pool, you must buy and wear a swimming cap, which they sell for 60 TL.

The property and the services exceeded my expectations. I was there for 8 nights and i had a great stay! Only minus is the area (lots of mechanic shops, and warehouses, etc.) There isn't much to do on foot. But with a car, you can get to everything you need to in less than 10-15 minutes.
