The hotel is 15 minutes by taxi from the airport. The appearance and inside are good. Arrived at 17 quickly. The room is small, for one person. There is no more room for the 2nd suitcase. The temperature in the room is perfectly adjustable. The air conditioner is quiet. Noise insulation with the street is low. But after 8 p.m. there are practically no cars and no noise. Airplanes don't interfere. It's quiet at night.

The staff greeted me like an old friend. Hadad and Embre made extraordinary efforys to help me overcome the limitations of the typical 'ignorant American', helping with a phone charger, restaurant recommendations, even a bit of simple first aid!! Magnificent people!!

Close to the airport. Good value for the money. Very friendly staff. Yes it is quite far from the tourist destinations but you can get there within an hour. Also if you are not fussy for the food there's a Domino's Pizza in walking distance.

I was disappointed with the size of the room, much smaller than in the pictures. The staff is very nice and friendly, no issues there. The room is too small, can't turn around inside. Stone floors. Descriptions on site don't match, what's with the "art-deco" reference, who cares about art-deco when you can't have the basics. Bathroom closet was leaking noisy all night. They need to upgrade the key entry system. Breakfast at 8am, really? I had a flight at 9 am, can't wait around until 8am. Overall, the price does not match the room size and quality. I hope they take notice, they want to be a good hotel but wishing is not enough, need to get with the program.

Very good hotel for short stay
We booked one night as we had a 10hr stay between flights at Istanbul airport. The hotel was clean and rooms are a good size with working air con and a very good size bathroom . The only thing we were not happy with was the booked airport transfer as when we arrived outside tte terminal we were told tge driver was not yet there. We tgen gitva taxi which worked out at half the price of what the booked transfer woukd have cost us.

It was nice staying at Melnaj Hotel , clean and quite, polite staff and friendly environment, Note: If you want to stay near Airport with lowest price so this is best, however you should not expect the local area as the main city of istanbul.

The staff were very friendly, but the room wasn’t very clean and there was so much noise all through the night. Music was on and whenever we ask reception to deal with it, they go quiet for a while then come back. It woke us up so many times at night. The room service food prices were very overpriced especially relative to its quality. I think this was our worst experience by far.

Clean hotel close to the airport. Our flight was delayed and they waited at the front desk for us. Note that the airport shuttle is not free - 25 Euro each way. This is significantly more expensive than calling an uber or taking a cab.

We stayed at the hotel between flights and were satisfied with the experience. The hotel is close to the airport ($15 by taxi) and in a quiet area which is why we chose it. The room was clean and had the basic amenities you would need for a one night stay (the kettle and tea/instant coffee was a nice touch). The furniture was a bit dated but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean so it ended up a good value. The staff was very friendly and called us a cab for our early flight. There are a few shops and 2-3 fast food/doner restaurants about 10-12 min walk from the hotel. We ate doners at one of the establishments (which was also a butchers shop) and were happy with the meal. There was also a small pastry shop in that area which had amazing Turkish desserts. Overall, a good stay and we would stay here again if fly through IST again.

I had booked a room with a bathtub and the reception guy just told me that he would give me some deluxe room and I said okay. And later I go to the room and there was no bathtub, but whatever. Otherwise the staff is mostly friendly and ready to help. Cleanness not perfect. You can hear the people from the other rooms. I wish you all the best.
