Staff are outstanding- absolutely make the stay exceptional. Knowledgeable, friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Take one of their organized tours - our food tasting tour with the Manager, Mr Alkan was exceptional! Breakfast is very good, and hot dishes change every day. The location is outstanding, proximate to all major sites, and 1 minute from tram stop - which makes it super easy to get around. Example - our ferry to Bursa was cancelled; the front desk helped us book an alternative ferry… by calling the ferry company (IDO), being put on hold, then our Visa card wouldn’t work, so he paid with his personal Visa, to make sure we got the reservation. Just outstanding. If in doubt, or trying to decide between hotels, pick this one, you won’t be disappointed.

Really loved this hotel. Being able to relax in the bath tub after a long day of walking across the city was amazing. I kept so busy I didn't have time to use the pool or sauna, but it's a good incentive to come back. Breakfast also changed each day, it was interesting to see what would be on offer each morning! Im vegetarian but managed to enjoy a variety of items.

This hotel has very nice facilities and the staffs are very kind and helpful. Their breakfast restaurant is excellent. If I had a chance to visit Istanbul again, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

No WiFi during entire stay. Their router was working and I could easily connect but they didn’t have internet access. Not even spotty internet, nothing, at any point during my entire stay.

My stay at Sirkeci Mansion.

Where do I start..from the moment we stepped in at 8 am in the morning, they accommodated my request for an early check in since we had kids and were exhausted from a long journey and they even gave us breakfast. From there onwards it has just been a brilliant stay for 8 days. The hospitality, kindness, family ambiance we received was incredible! (Complete opposite to the general public of Turkey). All the staff from Enver, Sezarn, Farooq, Ayaz, Arif, Fathima, Nargis were extremely welcoming and helpful but my hat goes out to Brother Okay who went a step beyond in assisting us with our day to day activities. He speaks the English language perfectly as well which was a plus. The hotel is a Botique hotel with a family feel to it. Has a lovely pool, sauna and Hammam for the cold winter evenings. It’s legit 20 steps from the T1 tram and few metres away from the underground train. The only flaws were the window and toilet roll holder being broken in the room and TV was not working with no sport channels showed in the hotel which is strange as Turkey is a football mad country. A particular staff member was extremely unpleasant and rude which made our stay a tad bit uncomfortable. I raised the issue and trust it has been addressed. Barring the few small minor issues, our stay has been extremely pleasant. It was extremely sad to leave our Turkish family behind and definitely we will return to Sirkeci mansion if we going to ever come to Istanbul again. Keep it up Guys!

Fantastic location and very friendly staff in a charming hotel with good breakfasts, a small pool, sauna and Turkish bath. Perfectly located for exploring the old town on foot (including the Ottoman Emperor's palace, Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar) but easy to nip over the Galata bridge by taxi or tram for nice restaurants (Gallada is amazing but expensive and Ali Ocakbasi is great but hidden). We had a brilliant time here.
