Ideal spot
Staff was very very friendly and accommodating. They understood the reason for my trip and took good care of me. 5/5 star service hands down, would definitely recommend. Walking distance to the train station and bus stop so be sure to take full advantage of the day passes because you will save alot of money on transportation

A good night stay in Istanbul
The hotel is located in a convenient location yet we need to walk up about five floors to our room. The room itself is clean and spacious and has a view to the ocean. The staff is very friendly and offered us cappuccino in the morning. He would also like to provide other information upon request.

I loved everything about my stay at this property. I was a solo traveller.and did not.know.what to expect from Istanbul..As soon as I walked into the property , the staff were at hand to greet and make.me.feel.welcomed. Sam , the customer liaison manager was so helpful. All the reception staff.made an effort to make sure I was happy and had all the information I needed to get around .They made reception a.melting pot for the guests and we usually shared a cup of coffee or.chai tea with the other customers. It felt like a home from home. The location was ideal. It was in close.proximity to 2 train stations, the tram, Taksim.square , Galata port and many shops and restaurants. I couldn't have wished for a better hotel.and will definitely be going back. Thanks to Sam and all the staff that work at Union hotel Port for making my first visit to Istanbul a very memorable one . Xx

We came from Canada and had a lovely stay for 3 days at the Union Hotel Port. The room was comfortable and transportation is so close by in the area so it is easy to get to all the sights/shopping/restaurants. The thing that stood out most for us was the hotel staff, they were so kind, hospitable and helpful with any questions or requests we had. Amazing customer service and attention to detail. Would recommend!

Very nice hotel, it was clean, staff was very nice, overall I would definitely stay there again. Location is perfect, tram station is 200 meters walk, so you are at the Hagia Sofia in 20 min. Galata Tower is a 20 min Walk. There is also a mall 10 min walk away Also the ferry is a 7 min walk. From there you can take the boat to other places in istanbul.

The hotel itself is located just off the big river road with every way of transportation available. The room was clean and big, everything worked as expected and seemed freshly renovated. The hotel provides big water bottles every day, which not all the hotels do, as we found out later. Sam has made our stay as smooth as possible, treating us like his own guests even after we checked out. All the best.
