Our 2nd time staying here for 7 nights with the all inclusive package and we found everything from the quick check in to the even quicker check out to be excellent. Food in Bella Vista was good and service staff everywhere were so friendly, attentive and happy. Our room on the 18th floor was clean, comfortable and quiet. The pool was lovely and the beach is beautiful with great service staff. We would certainly come back again.

Our stay at the Las Brisas Resort was exactly the relaxing vacation we needed. The building is beautiful and the property well-kept. Staff were friendly, professional and always willing to help. It is located uphill from Ixtapa proper, but if you’re ok with about a 20 minute walk, you can easily walk from Las Brisas down to “the letters” in the mercado/tourist section of town. An inexpensive cab ride back allows you to bypass the uphill return walk. Room was comfortable and well-appointed. Food options were good and plentiful. Especially enjoyed the fine dining experience at Portofino. All of the amenities were wonderful, but what truly makes Las Brisas special is the people. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, helpful and ready to do whatever they could to make our stay amazing. From the front-desk staff who answered our many questions, to our lovely housekeeper Juanita who made sure we had everything we needed every day, to our mealtime meseros (Javier, Angel, Demetrio, Jesus, Jorge) who kept our glasses full, gave recommendations on local activities and places to visit, helped us with our Spanish and just generally made us feel welcome and cared for - it is the people who make Las Brisas Resort the delightful place that it is.

Beautiful ocean views, lovely sand beaches and even whale watching. Bring binoculars for a better look. At the whales. We enjoyed the restaurants both at the hotel and in town. Nice 20 minutes walk to downtown.

We mostly had a great stay at this property. Beautiful property with a nice private beach with no vendors. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds. All rooms have balconies and views of the water. The staff are great, many servers stood out as exceptional. It is a quiet resort, There is absolutely no entertainment and no activities. We were fine with this, though would have liked some water aerobics. Of the 3 specialty restaurants, we liked Portofino and Brisas ll, with good food and nice service. We did not like the food at the Mexican restaurant. Our complaints with this resort is the all-inclusive plan does not include many items. There are bar fridges in the rooms but you have to pay to have them stocked. We found out through a guest half-way through our stay that we were able to order off the menus in the buffets under the all-inclusive plan. This is their best kept secret. When we asked for a late check out, we were given 1 hour free, while others were given 3 hours, and we had to pay for food & drinks from checkout time onward. Generally at all-inclusive resorts, they allow you to continue eating and drinking until you leave the resort. We asked if there was an airport transfer to resort and were told not on our plan but we could take a taxi for $568 pesos. When we arrived at the airport, a van was sent for us. We thought was complimentary, but were shockingly charged $1500 pesos upon arrival at the resort. We had not ordered this and were totally unimpressed!

Beautiful resort as you can see by the pictures they post. Yes, lots of stairs but not a problem and we're in are 60's. To go to the beach take the elevator to the 10th floor and the other elevator to the beach. To go to the pool, take the elevator to the 10th floor and it's almost a flat walk to the pool. The resort did not seem crowded at all and we had no trouble finding a chair in the sun or shade at the beach or the pool no matter the time of the day. It was a big relief not to have to get up early to play the "towel game". I wish they would have told us at the front desk when we checked in that to add a tip to the receipt you sign at every meal that you have to start a Voucher. Language was sometimes a problem as we are very limited in Spanish but we did OK. If you haven't been to this area before it is very hot. You need shoes to walk in the dry sand on the beach and any pavement in the sun. All the balconies face the hot afternoon sun but the view is breath taking. The mini fridges in the room are not stocked however they can be for a fee. We just took a cab into Ixtapa and bought our own. No, you shouldn't try to walk it. Too long and too hot. The food is vey good and the service even better. The main buffet (Bellavista) has a lot of choices for breakfast but gets very busy at 9:00 so you may have to wait. It also has a omelet station(be sure to tip-she is very good). Also thank you to Jorge for always being there with the coffee. Bellavista is closed for lu

A great budget friendly option. Amenities and food were fine but nothing to rave about. Beware it’s very time consuming to get anywhere in the resort. However, the views are beautiful and help make up for it.
