Great hotel with a private beach, ample common areas, multiple restaurant choices and a very friendly staff. The brutalist architecture is a treat and the location is scenic and ideal.

Beautiful resort as you can see by the pictures they post. Yes, lots of stairs but not a problem and we're in are 60's. To go to the beach take the elevator to the 10th floor and the other elevator to the beach. To go to the pool, take the elevator to the 10th floor and it's almost a flat walk to the pool. The resort did not seem crowded at all and we had no trouble finding a chair in the sun or shade at the beach or the pool no matter the time of the day. It was a big relief not to have to get up early to play the "towel game". I wish they would have told us at the front desk when we checked in that to add a tip to the receipt you sign at every meal that you have to start a Voucher. Language was sometimes a problem as we are very limited in Spanish but we did OK. If you haven't been to this area before it is very hot. You need shoes to walk in the dry sand on the beach and any pavement in the sun. All the balconies face the hot afternoon sun but the view is breath taking. The mini fridges in the room are not stocked however they can be for a fee. We just took a cab into Ixtapa and bought our own. No, you shouldn't try to walk it. Too long and too hot. The food is vey good and the service even better. The main buffet (Bellavista) has a lot of choices for breakfast but gets very busy at 9:00 so you may have to wait. It also has a omelet station(be sure to tip-she is very good). Also thank you to Jorge for always being there with the coffee. Bellavista is closed for lu

The beach was amazing 10/10. The food at this resort is not great. However the service was great especially Angel who works the buffet. The good dishes at the "inclusive" restaurants came with extra charges. Would recommend this hotel but to skip the all-inclusive food package and just eat in Ixtapa.

Amazing property where every room has an ocean view, private beach with awesome staff bringing drinks and snacks right to you. Clean rooms, comfy beds, decent buffet and really good restaurants. Bathrooms were clean but dated. Some menu items excluded from the all inclusive plan, was surprised by that but no biggie to buy them if you want. I would definitely return and recommend this resort for couples or families.

Wonderful Time at Las Brisas

We had a wonderful time, it was our 50th Ann. Sittin out on our private patio and watching the ocean was a highlight, we saw 14 whales one morning. The buffet breakfast ea. morning was wonderful, we sat by the open windows in the hall area. The happy hour & hors d'oeuvres ea.evening was a lot of fun, we met a lot of nice people.

I feel like the price was right for us. Buffets really weren't great but what we saved going to Barcelo we used to experience other restaurants in town. Beach service was great we definitely got out money's worth in booze. One thing I really noticed the lifeguards were really active.

We were given the VIP room upgrade that has always been classified as "unavailable" anywhere else and replaced with alcohol (but we don't drink.) So we were thrilled with the suite, the view, the service, and the honesty-- rather than a "bait and switch."

Lovely hotel and wonderful helpful staff, tasty food options, beach could use a bit of a tidy - food wrappers and cigarette butts in the sand (attentive lifeguards noticed). If you have mobility issues review the property carefully, stairs everywhere and steep sloped ramps.
