I loved that this hotel offered a free shuttle to the airport with kind drivers. The hotel itself was clean. Most of the staff were kind. The hotel is near many dining options and a shopping area. The theater next door is a really cool thing to have so close by. The rooms were basically nice and had a microwave and a refrigerator. My view was of the pool, and the movie theater building and parking lot. I wish that the hotel offered a continental breakfast or a full breakfast. This hotel is very clost to the freeway and a guest can get to Jackson within about 11 to 12 minutes!

I liked the location of this hotel. It was easy to access dining options and also some shopping areas. I loved that there was a movie theater within walking distance. I appreciated that it was a hop-skip-and a jump from the freeway entrance and that I could get to jackson within 11 minutes! I also did appreciate that there was a food place there to eat if I wanted to. The food service gentleman was very personable and helpful. I didn't like that when booking through a third party, (Expedia) that the hotel could not change details because of that third party booking. I did not like that some of the staff was personable and one staff person was very stand-offish and seemed cold and uncaring. When I was about to leave, this employee could have said anything to say that the company appreciated my business. Even if she did not care, the company got 4 nights from my fiancial pockets. There was no, "Thanks for staying with the Courtyard by the Marriott, I hope you enjoyed your stay! Also, do come again when you visit Mississippi in the future!" NOPE... it was barely a "bye." Maybe she took a dislike to me... who knows? I believe I was gracious as I could be. Yes, I did need to book a shuttle service a couple of times and ask that the room we were transfered to after our first night due to a double booking of the room, had a toilet that was not stable so I did have to ask that it be cemented to the floor better. But anyway, the other employees were pretty cool.
