I drove down from Manhattan for an emergency. My son was taken to the hospital, when he was moved to another facility I wanted to be closer to him and requested to cancel the days I had left to be able to pay for my next accommodation and they didn’t care and charged me the full amount anyways. They couldn’t make an exception considering what I was going through. But the place was decent overall.

The bathroom door knob was faulty and I got locked in the bathroom. Thank gos I had someone with me old enough to understand to get my phone so that I could call for help. My granddaughter is 6 years old and was able to assist. That truly pissed me off. The gas station next store was extremely loud with motorcycles and cars drag racing coming out of the station over and over til after midnight. It was awful.

Bedroom floor was slimy and the bathroom needs major improvements as there was a visible old hole in the wall next to the shower and bathroom door was dilapidated not to mention the pool area needs a ton of maintenace and update.

I love the place. It’s so clean and quiet, they serve a good and hot breakfast. I love the pancake,staff are nice very accommodating and helpful .. what I like most is it’s only a few minutes drive from the base. Were my son station.

The staff - friendly. Room - dated furnishings. Extremely small bathroom-no counter space. Sink wasn’t draining. AC noisy. Price was good, but I wouldn’t stay there again. Breakfast was ok. Pool has way too much chlorine. The space reeked of chlorine causing headache.

The staff works hard to accomodate your needs. The rooms aren't fancy but very nice and comfortable. If you have a pet, it is excellent for providing an outside walking space along with waste bags. I would stay there again.

Marine infantry training graduation

I was very pleased with the accommodations. The hotel's near the Marine base, so travel was relatively easy, except during rush hour. My TV remote had dead batteries and the desk clerk didn't have any. She gave me the batteries out of her remote and we were up and running. I had to repair a leg on the mini fridge, but I like doing those kinds of things. I would highly recommend this hotel given the reasonable price and comfortable accommodations.

Great Stay – Highly Recommend!

I had a fantastic experience at [Red Roof Inn & Suites Jacksonville, NC ]. The staff were friendly and helpful from the start, and check-in was quick and easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a great view. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with plenty of variety. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet. Overall, a smooth, relaxing stay. I’d definitely come back!
