We liked the location and property very much. I missed that there are two actual houses. Our weather was gorgeous, so no issue crossing street in morning for breakfast. John had asked if we had any dietary restrictions, I said no, not remembering my wife had changed her diet. They went out of their way to whip up something different my wife could eat. The only, only issue I had was the shower/tub had about a 32” step-over. There is a grab bar there, no one slipped or anything. I would recommend highly. Separate kitchen, 2 HVAC units, very comfortable. Good time was had by all.

Aerie is a beautiful little B&B located in the heart of historic New Bern. I enjoyed my chat with John, the owner yesterday. He is very personable and knows his SEC football, which I appreciated. I am not a morning/breakfast person so didn't experience what was on offer but it sure smelled enticing and the guests were obviously enjoying themselves. I will heartily recommend the Aerie to friends and family in the future.
