Beautiful setup. Loved the kitchen and full size fridge. Room was clean, beautiful view actually saw macaws flying by the balcony. Highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was great. Except for 3 things. 1-shower door needs a water deflecter seal to prevent water from getting on the floor. #2- loud construction noise on the gym. #3- bathroom fan cover fell off. Luckly, it didn't hit anyone on the head. The staff, location, Convience, and conditions were great. We enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Océano during our visit to Costa Rica. We were very pleased with our stay. The staff was great and friendly. The room was clean and the best part was the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

It is a nice hotel. The problem is the elevator wasn’t working, so we had to walk up and down 1/3 flight of stair. When we leave we will have to carry our luggage up those stairs to get to the elevator. Elevators are really toooooo small for the size of the building only 6 people can ride at a time (tight). The gym was being worked on and therefore not able to use.

We absolutely loved staying here. They treated us well, fresh breakfast every morning and only a straight walk down to the beach. It was in the perfect location to not feel busy, but close to all major attractions. If we ever come back we would book this place again. The staff were beyond friendly and always remembered you.

We throughly enjoyed everything about this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed 5 nights in the loft on the 5th floor with a 13 year old and an 11 year old. Ocean is right down the road as is the main strip with all of the restaurants and shops. The 7 breakfast options every morning were good and the service was good and fast. We will stay again

The only sad part of our stay was that we were unable to enjoy some of the free upgrades they gave to us. The pool was awesome. The unit we stayed in had a full kitchen(upgrade) which was nice to have for even a short stay like ours. One other upgrade we received btu were unable to use was a late checkout. We had a beautiful view from the balcony. Many dining options just a few minutes walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

I had one of the most appalling and traumatizing experiences at this property, and I feel compelled to warn others before booking here. Three nights before our scheduled checkout, we were illegally evicted from the hotel based purely on hearsay allegations — claims that we were supposedly blasting music from our balcony and engaging in illegal activities. Not a single piece of evidence was provided to support these outrageous accusations. There was no noise complaint presented from neighboring guests, no warning issued, no investigation conducted — just sudden, aggressive action taken against us based on gossip and false assumptions. The hotel manager’s behavior was absolutely disgraceful. Rather than acting professionally and approaching the situation with fairness or even basic courtesy, they chose to humiliate and expel us without cause. It was clear from their demeanor and language that they were motivated by discrimination and prejudice, treating us with an incredible level of disrespect that no paying guest should ever have to endure. This was not just an inconvenience — it was a violation of our rights as guests. Being removed without due process, without an opportunity to defend ourselves, based solely on unverifiable hearsay, shows a stunning lack of professionalism and gross mismanagement. In all my years of traveling, I have never encountered a more hostile, unwelcoming, and discriminatory environment. Stay away!
