We loved our room at the Jacob Lake hotel. We had two large windows in our room, and everything was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the delicious free coffee in the morning, which we picked up at the Inn restaurant. We found the staff to be very helpful, and they were so nice to talk to as we bought our delicious cookies in the Inn store -- so many wonderful choices! It's a great place to stay when you visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon!

I like places to stay somewhat old-fashioned or quirky. I love that this place was not rebuilt into some McMansion property. Travelers should know that the the Inn is open for breakfast at 8 AM and that it overall closes down at 8 PM.

Basically, with the north rim lodge burned out, this your only hotel choice. It was a solid place, with helpful staff, but things could get very slow in the restaurant. Maybe they are understaffed for current conditions.

I got a flat tire while going from the inn to north rim. We returned to the inn again. The receptionist lady who was also a mechanic helped with all the details of my car and also provided auto repair shop to go. I'm very grateful with the help provided. I recommend everyone to stay or have food over there which was great too. The staff is very helpful for any help you need. Thanks a lot for great service.
