A very warm welcome on arrival, friendly helpful staff. Room a bit worn and dated but made up for that in size and charm. Great location. As long as youre not expecting 5* luxury I would recommend this hotel. Very good for the price, would stay again if in Jaipur.

Worth staying to say you have slept in a palace
A comfortable but slightly shabby place with corridors and stairs going in all directions. The staff are friendly and helpful but with a little money spent making all fixtures and fittings work they could get that extra star. Good value for money.
This is our 2nd stay at the Mrignayani Palace. We stayed here a couple of years ago for 2 nights, this time we stayed for 11 nights. Now, it’s not 5 star but what it is, is very local for the Ild Town. Lots of things within walking distance. Beds are comfy, WiFi on the whole is ok, but it’s like that in most of India. You will get the grandest of welcomes and staff are very obliging. Breakfast is extra and the choice and cost is ok. You can pretty much have breakfast whenever you want. There is a very limited menu for lunch or dinner, but always tasty. The rooms are surprisingly comfortable with air con and fans. The only downside for me when there is the cleaning. This is done between the hours of 10 and 4 and you have to be around whilst they do it. There’s also a fridge and tv, but tv has no English channels, not that we were bothered. Overall a pleasant stay and would definitely stay again if in the area. Lastly, lots of stairs so if you are less mobile this could be a problem. Also there are monkeys that like to frequent the courtyard.
The staff took a little long to situate the check in, but they made it worth it by making the walk to the room very special. The breakfast was slow every morning, we were there on time every day but the buffet started late. The shower was difficult and messy. Overall a good experience.
1. When you prebook and everything is prepaid then they will not show you room options. You have to be satisfied with whatever type of room they give.
2. If your are an Indian then donot hope to get the service benefits.
3. Breakfast is not available and they simply say you have to inform 1 day before that you wish to have breakfast tomorrow (isnt this awesome).
4. The blankets provided are dusty and too bad...allergic people be careful.
5. No electric kettle in room.
6. Towels provided are the worst.
7. Location of hotel is good near to city but hard to find until you know to use google map properly. Even uber failed to locate this hotel.
8. The great thing is for food they donot give bill but take service taxes...
9. The place is too dusty and shaby..U will feel it a palace only when u fail to find the rooftop dining place as someone has to guide u there.
10. Everything is a experience and has learnings so nevermind our overall Jaipur trip was fabulous.
Have a safe trip....
Our welcome to the hotel was lovely. We felt right at home. Check in was smooth and without any problems. The staff we welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable and everything apart from the air on works fine. There was hot water in the shower. Breakfast which was an extra charge was simple but well cooked.
Al in all for a budget hotel it was good value for money. There is a great restaurant just around the corner. With traditional food, music, singing and dancing
It’s worst place to stay with family, they don’t even have computer at front desk. I booked online and they didn’t know about my booking. It took us 45 mins to finish front desk procedures.
Welcome to the hotel that time forgot.
Whatever happened to customer service and cleanliness?
The reception area, your first impression is filthy, probably never been dusted and the handrail on the stairs is black with years of filth.
In two week's we never had our towels or sheets changed. No complimentary water. They won't clean the room unless you are in the room and even then they don't make the bed, or replenish the toilet rolls.
The bed is as hard as a rock and the pillows are the same.
This truly is a badly run hotel living on past glories.
Oh and don't ask the staff top get you a Taxi. I did and they quoted me 800 rupees for a trip that with Uber cost me less than 200.
Tip - You can use Uber in India using your account from another country.
Something to remember. As a great alternative to the standard hotel chains, why not try a hotel with a difference! The hotel had so much character thanks to its incredible past as a Palace. Each room had its own distinct style and decoration in true Indian style. We had a fantastic greeting, with lovely staff very proud of their hotel. The hotel was comfortable, clean and considering the price was a bargain for the size of the room you were given. Showers were nice, hot water adequate, and WIFI connections differed depending on where you were located in the hotel due its crazy Palace like layout. You can walk to anything you wanted to see within the city or at least to the central point where tuk-tuks could then wisk you around. Highly recommended.

Nice old building
It is a good place to stay in Jaipur. Location is central, you can walk to the main atractions and get a bus to Amer Fort. Building has a beautifull architecture, althoud needs some improvements. The room was huge and comfortable with a good price. Better than most hotels we have staid in India.
do not go by 1st impressions as you walk in reception needs bit tlc. hotel has calming chilled atmosphere.rooms are basic but comfortable the staff are friendly and very helpfull.after a nights sleep you wake up to an oasis amid the chaos which is india.on our 2nd day we had dinner there what a treat we ate in hotel every day after excellent food.from the roof top terraces you can see miles what a view would highly recommend rawla mragnayani hope to go there again.
This hotel would be the best one I have stayed at in my 5 weeks so far in India. The staff are really nice and friendly. The room was huge. Everything was clean and tidy. Close to the city palace and markets. This hotel was real value for money and I would definetly stay again.
Very nice stay in very nice ancient building with helpful and lovely staff. Highlight: all the nice roof tops to chill and relax. Perfect for sunset views. Lovely decorated with flowers. We could check in earlier and could extend our stay hastle free. Thanks again.
