Rang Mahal, Jaisalmer – Wonderful Stay Experience (5★) This was my second visit to Jaisalmer, and I stayed at Rang Mahal from 26th December to 31st December (3 nights). Once again, the experience was absolutely wonderful. Everything about the property was perfect and well maintained. The room was super clean, spacious and comfortable The food was amazing, with great variety and taste The dinner setup with traditional Rajasthani folk singing was truly the icing on the cake and made the evenings very memorable The staff deserves special appreciation — extremely polite, helpful, and always ready to take care of any concern with a smile. Their hospitality really makes you feel welcomed and valued. I happily give 5-star ratings for everything — stay, food, service, and overall experience. Overall, my stay was amazing, and I would love to visit again for the third time in the future. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaisalmer! — Aman Dwivedi

Good property with bad maintenance and management

This is an over priced property with extremely poor management and service. The property itself is nice- but lacks professionalism from management side. They charge top 5 star rates- but rooms are ordinary with poor cleaning and maintenance. Cheap white LED lighting in the room gives it a low class shop feel. Their stingy approach is also evident in that they switch off water heating mid day - and one had to call and ask them to re switch it on. There were lizards in the room.

The hotel staff were very friendly. They made a special dish for us as we were fasting, in spite of having a buffet breakfast. The rooms were a little old and could do with some touch up.

such an amazing experience. overall resort experience exceeded our expectations. The staff members went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. it's a very well maintained beautiful property. food was outstanding. Great hotel, great staff. Accessibility limited

The hotel is in a good location, along the road which seems to have a line of high-end hotels. Close proximity to the old city, but not walking distance. The hotel has great layout - like a classic house design (haveli) but with modern amenities and modern interiors. A grand entrance with large wooden doors is very reminiscent of the grand days of Rajasthan. It has one indoor restaurant, and one open air area which has evening dinners. The morning breakfast buffet is well provisioned. Pleasant staff who are helpful. There is some areas within the walls which are adequate for parking self-driven cars. One drawback is that the hotel does not have any elevators. And no wheelchair friendly entrances. Thus, for elderly people and ones with climbing issues, this hotel can get to be quite a problem - right from the front entrance. And the staircases all around the property are without railings except for one - which makes it even more difficult.

Standard 4-star close the fort

Decent hotel. A standard 4-star. The exterior decor is nice in keeping with the Jaisalmer Fort theme. However the room interior was fairly standard. The staff were polite and helpful but could be a bit more organised.

Serviceable hotel to crash for one night

Property is relatively newer, well maintained and architecturally well designed, making use of local stonecraft very effectively. Rooms were clean & comfortable commensurate to a 4 star hotel. Only major gripes: 1) food took forever to arrive and then came cold and had to be sent back, we noticed other guests were having the same problem and 2) there was a raucous party going on in their lawn, on top of loud music, hosts of a class reunion party were loudly blabbing non stop on the mike into late hours of the night. This property simply isn't designed for large parties like this, it makes it impossible for guests to have any peace and quiet (noise permeated into the restaurant, into the rooms, etc.). They could really have toned the mic's down, it was the hotel manager's responsibility to make sure they are thinking about all guests' comfort.

Lovely stay

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. It was a lovely experience, the staff was friendly and helping. The rooms are big, bright and with all needed facilities. The cultural program in the evenings was well organised. The breakfast had both eastern and western options. A great stay indeed.
