A good place to stay if you are visiting Jamestown - possibly in need of modernisation, but just the same comfortable and clean. Staff are friendly and breakfast was good

No frills hotel at a decent price. Sliding doors to the outside do not work or lock properly, but an aluminum bar is installed. Non-working keycard scanners at entry points from parking lot is inconvenient for loading and unloading luggage to/from vehicles near rooms. Hot breakfast offerings are subpar along with continental items. Rooms and bathrooms seemed 'clean enough' to stay.

Check in was easy, room was clean and quiet, king bed was very comfortable, lighting was adequate. I appreciated the use of the microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked. The only thing that I didn't care for was the scent of the room when I first opened the door. Thanks to all for a very pleasant stay! I will return!

When I checked in the receptionist repeatedly said I would be responsible for anything that I break?!?! I asked her, do I look like I’m going to break anything? I entered the room and immediately saw the baseboard was ripped off and the drapes looked like someone one had taken a knife and slashed several holes in them. Definitely still looks like a red roof inn. Needs updating as well as fixing the elevator.

The check-in was less than great! Random dude chillin on the tailgate of his pickup pulled up in the awning area smoking cigs with front desk staff.. I had a “non-smoking” room that straightup smelled like a smoking room.. since I am a smoker.. I asked for a smoking room or if I could smoke in the one that smelled like it.. but was told NO, and there weren’t any available.. I had pets and asked for a room that might be less noisy.. I got put at the top of the stairs right by the lobby.. so basically lots of noise and traffic. Front desk staff that evening seemed annoyed with anything I asked.. However, the room was clean besides the smell, overall the stay was ok. I WILL say the morning staff was much more professional and friendly.. aware and attentive. Breakfast was decent. Overall I’d say it was an ok stay, but I probably will not be back.

Its off the beaten path, in a very secluded area. We felt totally safe, and would be super happy to go back and stay again. Breakfast was convient and delicious.

Needs a lot of maintenance. Our sliding glass door was a mess and broke. Outlets were old and some sparked. Hair dryer was broken. Bath tub was very slippery, I fell. Carpet was dirty, my socks were ruined. Breakfast was decent. No problem with ice machine. Beds comfortable.
