The reason we chose this place was the sauna and pool which the front desk said was open at 7:00 in the morning. Everything closed all day and the front desk now says it’s only open 5-10 pm

The service at Reception on arrival and in the Restaurant was very slow, the room was basic with no additional ammenities kettle etc. The batroom suffered from poor smelling drains, overall not impressive. Although the service was slow the staff were helpfull and friendly.

Perfectly adequate
Quite okay. Scandic manage to always have a 60s style but at least you know what you are getting. Breakfast was adequate without being notable in any way. The gym was small but perfectly adequate. Room was clean. Good wifi signal.

Good for short business trip, I didn't see too much of the local area but seems ok on the outset. Hotel rooms are looking a bit aged but still comfortable enough. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner but not bad, fitness room has great machines. Breakfast is very tasty and lots of different choices. I would stay again.

Review of hotel stay
Was there for five nights and the staff were very welcoming. The restaurant needed some more staff, on one evening there was one lady serving behind the bar, taking food orders and serving the food to everyone (and it was busy)which meant the waiting time for service was not good. Excellent location for the train station as it is literally past the car park. Overall a good place to stay :)

Cheap (For Finland!) and clean
Dec 2011 - A nice clean hotel, free wifi in all the rooms, staff were extremely polite and helpful at all times and spoke good English. Breakfasts were good, a buffet with a wide selection of foods, all well prepared and presented. About one minutes walk from Jarvenpaa station with direct trains into Helsinki (Journey times 20 minutes, €12 return ticket). Rooms were nicely furnished in a modern style and clean. No complaints at all about this hotel. I would happily stay there again.

Yhden yön liikematka. Ystävällinen palvelu vastaanotossa. Huone siisti, tilava mutta melko vaatimaton.Aamiainen yllätti positiivisesti runsaudellaan ja maukkaudellaan. Illallisravintolassa ruoka oli myös erittäin maukasta, palvelussa olisi ollut tosin vähän toivomisen varaa. Tarjoilijoiden perään sai vähän huudella, vaikka olimme alkuillasta lähes ainoat asiakkaat.
