The room was ok. It was kind of small for the price and pretty far from downtown Jasper so a tad inconvenient. The thing I disliked the most, however, was that we could hear every conversation being had by our neighbors through the paper thin walls. I felt like we couldn't talk above a whisper for fear of disturbing them.

The location was good and the reception process good. The restaurant part was good and so were the employees. The cabin was smaller than expected, but i think there maybe bigger options.

We got upgraded from a single room with one bed to an entire chalet with 2 bedrooms. The man at the front desk was so sweet and he gave us great recommendations!

This property is located on a hillside overlooking a valley with mountain views, and has privately owned and rentable rooms and cabins, and a central restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful, but overall we felt it was pricey, and not value for money. We also are of the opinion that their website does not make it clear (or clear enough) that the property is located 45km from the town of Jasper, and is absolutely not in the town of Jasper. Perhaps this may not deliberate.

there weren’t enough coffee cups, etc., so we had to go back to the reception to ask. it would be better if there was a phone service to contact reception directly instead of having to go back in person. also, the room view wasn’t as nice as shown in the photos.

The room was very poor. No door on the bedroom to the entrance was odd. There were just two chairs in the room, there was 3 of us. We had to sit in the bed. No hand soap in the bathroom. Baring in mind this place is remote, we were told upon arrival that there was no room in the restaurant to eat, reception told us we will have recieved an email to say there will be high demand so book in advance, no email but found in the small print. Luckily there is a brewery 5 mins drive so we headed there and it really is nice. Guy on reception was helpful in his smiley responses but felt like he was always fighting similar questions. Just make it clearer or ensure there is enough space for all guests to eat (not overly ambitious). Location for off grid is good. Overall we paid £230. You can stay at the Fairmont on Lake Louise for £350 (I checked when we arrived). Absolutely madness pricing for that cabin I would expect £100 max.

The receptionist was so nice and accommodating. The place we stayed in, Chalet 134, is not what I am expected, it’s not that good but not too bad either, it serves its purpose. The pull out bed in the living area is not in good condition, too noisy every time you move and not too comfortable to sleep in, surely needed a new sturdy one. The sunrise at the back of the restaurant is beautiful.
