Sadly, this hotel is undergoing major renovations, this wasn't clearly stated on Expedia unless you clicked through additional information, so we arrived to a hotel where the main building housing the restaurants, pool and hot tub are all closed only reception is open, the noise from the renovations is very loud. We were told we could use the facilities in the groups other hotel up the road, not likely that anyone will bother when the outside temperature in minus, we were also given a discount voucher for a meal at one of their other hotels in the area. On a positive note, we had a room in the newer wing, the room is lovely, modern, spacious and well provisioned, including a small kitchen and seating area, just a shame the noise from the renovations ruins the ambience. I am sure when the renovations are completed in April 2026, the hotel will be back to its former glory, until then give it a miss as there are plenty of other hotels in Jasper.

We arrived at the hotel and had high expectations as we saw all the amenities that were on the hotel, like 2 dining spots, a spa and a pool. We were disappointed to learn that none of these amenities were accessible as they’re under renovation for a year. It does say on the booking, but it is in really fine print, and quite frankly could be easily missed. Other than that, the staff were friendly and apologetic for the inconvenience, and rooms were clean. Just disappointing that we payed quite a bit only to have no amenities

Pool and hot tub is nice. Couple of washers and dryers at the hotel which is a plus. Restaurants inside the hotel is convenient especially after exhausting all day activities

New renovated room was nice, however, everything at the hotel is closed for construction. No pool, fitness centre, restaurant, shops, room service etc. The price for the room is way too expensive for the hotel being under construction. The hotel should discount the rooms to compensate for all the construction and no amenities.

Hotel was just recently updated. The rooms with kitchenettes were fantastic. Lots of amenities inside the room. Pool was great, a little cold with the air circulation. But nice and a great hot tub. Beds were comfortable.

Our 3 nights in the Alpine Kitchen Suite was a very pleasant experience. The room was spotless, nicely furnished, large modern bathroom with walk in shower. The king bed was very comfortable and having the kitchenette came in handy for breakfast and making lunches for our hikes. We did have the buffet breakfast that is offered one morning and it was very good with lots of options and reasonably priced. The location was an easy walk, about 20 minutes to downtown Jasper for shopping and dining. Would highly recommend the Forest Park Hotel for a stay in Jasper.
