Nice hotel with thoughtful amenities
We stayed in this hotel overnight on our way to another place. We were comfortable, enjoyed the jacuzzi and breakfast, and appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owners and staff.

We stayed here for one night after going to Holiday World. We were tired after the park and looking forward to the hot tub. But the hot tub was broken. It was hot and we got in, but the jets weren't working. Everything else about our stay was great. Beds were comfortable for a night, room was very clean, and the breakfast was excellent.

When I arrived to check in there was no one at the front desk. Another visitor showed up said housekeeper had to check her in while on the phone with manager explaining how to do it. It took almost 30 minutes and calling corporate to get someone to front desk. The whole weekend while there I never once seen any staff except house keeping in the mornings. Definitely could use some updating also.

A good stay
The updates to this older building are very well done and effective. Our bed was very comfortable. Our room, the hallway, the lobby, and the breakfast area were very clean. All the staff were very pleasant.

After approximately ten minutes of being in the room we found fleas on multiple people in our party. We left immediately. Attempts to contact the hotel for a refund via Hotels.com messaging or by phone to the hotel directly have been unsuccessful for a refund.
