Room and common areas are dirty. Staff is out to lunch. It's almost like they're in a bizzaro world - where they offer to do things unsolicited and then never follow through. Four times this happened to us, from checking in, to getting coffee, to cleaning the room (which had hair everywhere and a dirty napkin in the bed). These folks are in outer space. My friend who lives in the area and comes frequently confirmed this is typically the case.

Great place to stay and only an hour from home. Wished we knew about this place sooner. Welcoming lobby which was a very cozy place to hang out after dinner with a drink. They have everything you need here.

Great restaurant, very nice view — choose ocean view over cove. Clean rooms with a good mix of modern amenities with rustic decor. EV charging is available, but one was out of order and some other guests didn’t free up the space after charging. The winery offering tastings has a price sheet that doesn’t match what they charge. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The property was beautiful! We had a really great stay with my small dog, which was great to be able to bring him into the great room. The food was delicious, we stayed in for dinner both nights. The service was consistently great during our stay! One thing I’d say is just a bit more upkeep needed, there were a bunch of cobwebs on the balcony. The price can get a little high for the room itself, so would just take that into account when choosing future weekends.

The grounds are impressive with your "backyard" overlooking the terrific California north coast, Ocean, and many rocks for the surf break on. Food service was really good and the food as well. We appreciated our server Spencer - who was most attentive to us. Great place to relax and look at the ocean.

The setting is gorgeous. Rooms looking straight over the water. Peaceful, quiet. Halfway between Jenner and Sea Ranch, less than 30 min to Sea Ranch. Early morning coffee and muffins along with evening cookies are a treat. However the restaurant food could be a little improved. Portions are small for the price — for instance, a mezze platter consisted of about 3 Tbsp of hummus and 2 Tbsp of very small accompaniments, 1 (tasty) pita torn up and 2 long crackers for $32. Similar small sizes across other items.

We weren’t able to enjoy the food as it was closed for a private event. Had I known this beforehand, I wouldn’t have booked for that day. It felt like a wasted experience — I drove three hours to stay there and didn’t get the full visit we had planned. Bed was comfortable.
