Very helpful and knowledgeable front desk manager. Very clean, tidy, spacious updated rooms with comfortable beds. Even though it was beside a busy road, the room was very quiet! Great breakfast as well!

Nice, but had a cockroach

When arriving, we thought the hotel was very clean, despite the musty smell. We really enjoyed the pool and the location was nice and close to everything. Unfortunately, there was a live cockroach in our bathroom. When I told the front desk worker about it, who was originally very kind, when notifying her about the cockroach, she informed me they don’t get those and continued to tell me that is not what I saw, even though I know what I saw. An apology would have sufficed, but I don’t appreciate how it was handled.

This hotel was clean and convenient to the turnpike. The breakfast was fine. Staff was friendly. I suggest they install grab bars in the shower/tub.

I was in a handicap accessible room which was fine. However, there was a terrible musty odor in the room that hit you as soon as you walked into the room. If another room had been available at the same price, I would have asked to be moved. I had to spray the pillows and bed with my perfume just to be able to sleep. I did report it to the clerk when I checked out but no compensation was given. I have never been in a room in any hotel that smelled that badly. I would have given 1 star because of the odor but the bathroom and sink area was clean.
