I would never stay here again. By far the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Got in late on a road trip or would have found another place. Kids would have rather slept in the car. Smelt of animals and smoke in a smoke free room. The sofa should be burned, I wouldn't even sit on it. Was full of hair and smelt horrible. Had to squeeze 4 people in a king size bed. Pool and Hot tub was drained.(Not that we were going to use as we got in late.) Breakfast was very poor. Biscuits/Gravy, green bananas, red apples and water bottles. No juice, milk, yogurt etc.
It was an affordable place to stay, but nothing special. It's convenient to I-44 and close to Tesla Superchargers on S. Main Street, so charging up in the evening for a full charge in the morning is a good option.
The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. My furst room the heat was broke and only would blow cold air. I couldn't even turn it off. I had checked in late on my arrival date, so the next morning i informed them about the condition of the room. They quickly mived my room and upgraded me to a suite.
The workers were nice, but the hotel itself lacked alot. from not being able to open the door, tv wouldnt come on to toilet not flushing properly. paid for 2 nites. left after the first nite.
They had sold too many rooms so changed us from a 2 bed room to a single bed and pull out couch. The bed was fine but the pullout had hair, mouse poop and a strong stench to it.
Hard to complain when the price was so low. We just needed a clean place to sleep at while visiting family that weekend, so it fit our needs.
Pros:
Room - mostly clean, new flooring, large space, comfortable bed, lots of sitting and storage space in our overall. The AC/heater unit worked great.
Other - they have cool water bottles for guests in the lobby and a grab-and-go breakfast included. The staff was nice.
Cons: We had to go to the front desk twice because our room keys de-activated. First time they blamed our phones, but the next day we specifically left the cards in the car away from everything and it still happened. There was also some hair in the bathroom and a live cockroach that came in through a crack in the shower.
Specifically requested (required) a non smoking room. Was given a smoking room. Gross, horrible, unacceptable, disgusting, sickening. 45 years of renting hundreds of hotel rooms and have never asked for nor accepted a smoking room. Unbelievable. Unacceptable. Everything around was sold out or we would have relocated in a hearbeat. We drove through a blizzard and then a Noah's Ark rainstorm for 12 hours to see our son run at his NCAA cross country regionals to arrive at this POS place.
