The price was right and so was the place.

Two very large beds. user friendly A/C unit. large TV. Wonderful family managed the place. Friendly, Many good places to eat nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Decent motel. Not very many ammenities. Clean with some decent renovations. Liked being able to park right outside our room. And within good proximity to route 66 stuff downtown and route 66 Cars on the Route in Galena Ks. Overall decent stay for one night.

It was what you would expect of a budget hotel property. Nothing special, although the room was remodeled in the not-too-distant past. Front desk staff and check-in and out seemed a little off-putting, not the friendly, helpful sort that I was used to. The biggest downside was their guest policy. I was advised by a rather large sign inside the very SMALL lobby, that only the named persons on the card that you filled out could occupy the room. What is the deal with this???? I have had this happen at a couple hotels I booked this trip, but I really don't like this. What if I was visiting family or friends and they wanted to come over for an hour or three? Given this policy, they couldn't. I guess I will have to really pay attention to this policy when booking in the future.
