I have been to Las vegas over 30 times in the last 15-20 years. Every time but two I have stayed at Bally’s/Horseshoe. I have always been a loyal dedicated customer. I have raved to my friends and family about how fantastic this hotel has always been to me, helpful staff, cleanliness of rooms, fantastic ambience, and atmosphere. This time that I went was for a very special occasion for my girlfriend‘s birthday. It was a surprise birthday gift for her. PRIOR to arrival I called and asked if I arrived early and my room was available may I put my luggage in my room without a fee, as an early check-in. UPON arrival I was charged almost $300 to get into my room 2 1/2 hours early. Opening up the door to my king resort suite as they say you would assume that it would be mildly luxurious, not at all. Very beat up room, dirty floors, dusty mirrors, dirty bathroom, bed only had comforter and one flat sheet, wear marks on all the furniture.(bedside, bathroom vanity, nightstands) like the furniture in my room had been on a bumper car course. When we arrived, the AC went down to 65 to keep it cool but the next day it would only go to 68. The sliding glass door that goes to a so-called balcony.(dangerous as hell) does not close all the way. Needless to say there were bugs in the room throughout the whole trip of four or five days. I really hate to say that I was very disappointed, but I was extremely disappointed. Hopefully somebody that reads this is in a position to make a difference.

No entertainment Monday thru Wednesday at the bar area. Water was shut down on 2 separate days . Rooms were not cleaned everyday. Pool area was very nice. Sid’s was a nice breakfast restaurant.free shuttle to Fremont street and to the strip very nice .

The room was comfortable and well maintained with easy access to the pool. The staff was welcoming and friendly which made the stay that much more pleasant. We will definitely visit again at the next opportunity. Thank you!

Resort fee of over $65.00 is simply an absolute rip off So is the so called damage deposit Food choices were limited with poor selections unless you want to spend a fortune
