This hotel is a little gem in the area with so many shopping and dining options close by. The hotel rooms are wonderful and looks new and updated, and the facilities are great. I would stay there from now on every time we stay in that area.

Upon arrival into our room, there was leftover garbage and a cooler left in the room. The staff was notified and quickly changed us to another room that was cleaned and acceptable. Front staff was very accommodating.

We ended up at the Sonesta hotel after we were canceled secondary to water issues in another part of junction city. The lobby was contemporary looking and so were the rooms. The 3rd floor hall carpeting was old looking and really needed to replaced. The breakfast was fair. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

We had three small issues in our room: (I) mini fridge did not work, (ii) fixture over the sink was not fully attached to the sink, still worked ok, (iii) the tub was mounted with bottom not leveled correctly with a water path slopping towards its drain, causing water to pool in the middle of the tub and mildew manifesting itself. Not noticed the tub issue until it was too late for us to ask for different room. The issues really may sound bad, but the place is really nice. Did not used their pool.

Not as it appears...

The hotel doesn't appear as it does in the pictures. You're first greeted by a dark lobby and the pool is in rough shape. Our mini fridge was not working and there was hair in the bed. I am grateful for a kind staff who understood our concerns and offered solutions including changing rooms or getting a refund. The hotel just needs some love, attention, and investment.
