Check-in went smoothly and they gave me a "nicer" room. Room was clean. The AC worked which is always a blessing in Texas. Breakfast was the traditional continental breakfast plus a waffle machine and the area was clean. Check-out was easy as well. TV had all my favorite channels and also worked! Refrigerator and microwave worked well. All in all, a very great room for the price.

Room was clean, and cool at check in. The only negative was the soap dispensers, they didn't release a lot of soap. It took a minute to get enough soap to shower. But aside from that, the place was well worth the price. Would definitely stay there again.

The motel was quite a pleasant surprise after having stayed at the other ’chain’ motels in Junction throughout the years. As most older motels, some things were worn, but it was well maintained by Rakesh ‘Rick’ the owner who, with a genuine smile, was very friendly and immediately took care of our room issues when asked. Lobby breakfast area was spotless and breakfast well presented. Room pricing was very reasonable. This motel harkens back to the inns of the 50’s and 60’s where the rooms were small but neat and the owner’s took pride in personally maintaining their properties. It’s worth staying here not only for the value but also to appreciate the small town hospitality of yesterday.

The good: comfortable bed, great water pressure in shower, cute coffee cart within walking distance and several restaurants. The bad: wifi signal didn't reach our room so no access, the cleanliness was questionable especially in the bathroom, and the breakfast was very limited, loud neighbors, cigarette smoke from neighboring rooms wafted into our room. I booked this motel based on the “Excellent” rating on Expedia. At best I would give this motel 2.5 stars.
