Close to Airport!
Typical downtown Juneau hotel in the summer months. Very busy! But welcoming and accommodating for a quick overnight before heading home to Fairbanks.

I wanted an earlier shuttle ride to the ferry. Was told by the manager,”this is when it leaves, want earlier, get a cab”. They made me miss the ferry one time waiting for the only guy with a key to the freezer to return from a run. I was driving a vehicle and was bumped because we didn’t get there early enough. I had reservations that I lost! Cost me several days more in the hotel. An expense to me that was not necessary. I’m a little jumpy now

I feel like they just gave up on renovating and taking care of the place. Not up to date, one of the travel web sites said there was a pool and breakfast but there were neither of those, beds were hard and the rooms were out dated, TV selections were good.Were kind of expensive for what we got, not sure if I will stay there again, but there are not many options in Juneau

We were able to get a rollaway bed which made sleeping better. The staff also let us borrow a floor fan. Thanks for the help! Everyone was courteous and kind!

Front Desk was very helpful. Even one lady helped me in suggesting the place I can see Bear and indeed, ditto! , next day we saw not 1 but 3 Bears.

This property was about one-half mile from the airport, which was an important factor when we had to WALK to the airport after our scheduled 3:30 am airport shuttle had not arrived by 3:45 am. Luckily, we were capable of walking that one-half mile with our luggage and we had the company of 6 other travelers who also had booked the shuttle.

What a relief with all of our baggage to be able to have a room before 3 p.m. We then took a taxi to the tram and dog sledding areas.

Property was dated, carpet in halls was worn and dirty, rooms had old worn furnishings, bathroom sink was damaged and patched, linoleum was old and faded, caulking around tub and sink was ill applied. Lobby old, rundown appearing. Only positive was airport shuttle and walk in freezer for game/fish for sportsmen, and proximity to airport.
