Good, affordable option for lodging in Maui. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel isn't a prime beachfront location, but the outside has some fun games and lounge chairs and it's close to the airport which is great for an early morning departure. Lots of options nearby for food and shopping. Good value for the price.

When checking in with my Expedia reservation, they charged an extra $15 resort fee, separate from what I’d already paid. They also charged $20 for parking so my “welcome” into this hotel was paying $35 extra PER DAY than what I expected to pay. Outside of the extra price, we got a towel with a rip in it, and the shower had some mold. It’s fine for the price point, but if you book here, expect to pay extra and know that you’re not staying at a top-line resort.

Ants on the desk and bugs on the kitchen floor. Bed wasn't comfortable at all. Extra charges that weren't indicated prior to check in. Quite expensive and not worth it. Was under construction and signage to even find the front desk was poor. Nothing too drastic - just disappointing.

I chose Maui Beach Hotel because it seemed convenient, being close to the airport, and the price was relatively lower compared to other hotels in Maui. I understand the saying, “You get what you pay for,” but for $320-$330 per night, I expected more. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. The room was small, noisy, and had an unpleasant smell. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, making the stay uncomfortable. The hotel clearly needs renovation. If they choose not to renovate, they should consider rebranding as a motel and adjusting the price to $100-$200 per night so customers know what to expect. We only stayed two nights before moving to Hana-Maui Resort, which cost $400 per night. The difference was striking—the room and service were exceptional. Later, we stayed at Royal Lahaina Resort at a similar price point ($400-$500 per night), and once again, the view, room, and service were excellent. The lesson I learned: spend a little more for quality accommodations—it makes a big difference in your overall experience.

Carpet in the entire hotel is filthy and needs to be changed. Shower floor was grossly dirty. Also black mold In the shower stall. Water in the sink were backwards For the hot and cold. Room door was very hard to open and would not close on its own. The general care and upkeep on the hotel is poor paint The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed frame had very sharp metal pieces coming out under the The box Springs. The mattress was very uncomfortable the pillows were hard and flat. In the bathroom area sheetrock repairs were attempted to be made but not finished.

Older motel, built in 1968. Ok accommodations but many of the carpets need shampoo. Restaurant was mediocre. Surprised when checking in they charged a per diem of $20 resort fee and $15 parking fee. No areas to walk. Over priced by $100 a night.

It's fine for last minute situations or if you want to be close to the airport to catch a flight or are on a strict budget or just need a bed and a shower. This hotel has seen better days, no question. Staff are great!! Lobby and lanai are nice. Pool is okay, but not heated. Onsite food options are limited.

It was a nice stay for sure nice hotel. I would stay there again but was kinda loud with all the fans going on in the morning while we’re staying there. I guess they were painting all in all was nice staff was nice good beds.
