The property was a good price for the amenities. Staff was nice and got the job done. The unit was clean and had a nice view. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We would stay again.

A Conveniently Located Property
The staff at check in and during our stay were quite helpful, responsive, prompt and friendly! The woman who checked us out on 10/15, not so much. The room we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. There are signs in the main pool area that don't really serve the purpose, since no one was there to enforce them when we were there in the early morning, between 8 - 10 am. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will likely consider a return to the property the next time we are in Kona. Thank you!

They push time shares very aggressively. I did see a giant cockroach outside the kitchen door. Property was nice, facilities were nice. However very dated, and cleanliness par at best. Not terrible but I don't think I would choose this place again

The large room and full kitchen were great. We bought food for all breakfasts and snacks. Nice quiet location with beautiful sunsets. Pool was good to cool off but not a lap pool. Overall a good experience.

We always considered Kona Coast resort as one of the tourism industry stars on this island. We've been here before, so when Expedia presented us this choice for our vacation, we were glad to repeat the experience.

We had a whole condo for just 2 people. The condo was fully equipt with a kitchen and washer/dryer. It was near a shopping complex, so you can buy food from the grocery store and there were some restaurants in the area. The stores and attractions are not close to where we are located, but we have a rental, so it was not so bad. The only downside was the whole condo smelled musty which lingered for a whole day and a half. We have to air out the condo for the smell to dissipate. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay at the the Kona Coast Resort. My mom loved all the space and amenities, that she said ahe would love to stay again there if given the chance to be back in the Big Island of Hawaii. The staff were also pleasant and friendly. Just FYI. Since it is a condo, housekeeping is not always available. But if you ask for more coffee or towels, they are available to send someone to your location. Parking was also free, so that was one amenity that we did not have to pay extra. Overall, I would recommend this place if you are not particular about being in a central location.
