My room had a shower bath combo, perfect as I like to soak in a tub. I was very happy to see that the body wash, shampoo and condition were NOT attached to the wall like most other hotels have started doing. This made it easy for me to enjoy my bath as a bubble bath which you cant do when they attach the dispensor to the wall. One improvement would be to not charge for parking for local Hawaii residents which we are.

We liked the Coffee truck for convenience for most of our stay. Just fyi, a disappointing experience our last day there with the coffee/food truck, possibly dishonest. Our service for the rest of our stay with them was completely positive.

good location; appreciate the cotton sheets; BUT checkin experience was horrible - we reserved a King bed room with rollaway for 3rd person; I called day before checking to make sure rollaway bed would be ready in our room when we got there as we were to land late; got to hotel and were told rollaway bed was in our room; it was not and they were apparently all out; luckily there was another room we could move to, but tall husband and I would need to share a double bed - it was 11:45pm by that time. Add to that the noisy air conditioner and very poor water pressure, this will not be a place we will ever be coming back to.

The people who worked there were so friendly and the room was so clean. It was so convenient to be able to check out a bike and ride around town. I would reccomend anyone to stay here who is visiting Kona and I definitely would stay there again if on a trip there to Kona. (unless I can just move to Kona of course, however I'd still stay there anytime given the opportunity)
