Nice place go stay
Wonderful staff. Updated lobby, patio, pool area. Great location. Free parking around the corner. Enjoyed having a balcony. Only complaint is they could update their flooring and towels. Beds were comfortable.

I’d stay here again and again
We stayed here our last night on island before flying home. As such, we didn’t take advantage of room service, or the pool, but were treated very well and found our room to be comfortable and clean. No complaints, and the lobby coffee was legitimately good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay at the Pacific Kona Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable. The complementary bicycles, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas were very appreciated. The location was excellent both for access to the beach and many restaurants. We highly recommend this hotel!!

Great location at the beginning of Ali’i drive which is great since parking there is expensive and hard to get! I was able to walk to beaches and restaurants easily. Loved the free laundry (bring soap), daily yoga and free chairs, umbrellas and bicycles! Wished there was a microwave in the room so we could reheat leftovers. The room can’t ever get totally dark because of the sheer curtains in front of the air conditioner and window below it. The fridge kept getting warm and the smoke detector started chirping in the middle of the night. Parking spots are tiny, get the smallest car possible in Hawaii since that’s common. But the staff are super friendly and the location is fantastic.

Booked here mostly because it was listed as an Expedia VIP property, but they don’t recognize that. No room upgrade (which is to be expected) but they did try to sell me one twice prior to check in. The food/beverage credit was also unrecognized at check in. They pulled a bit of a bait and switch on me, the room picture listings show the main building, but they’ll stick you in the annex out back. Garden “view” was just a concrete path. Housekeeping is on request only. So I requested it, but it didn’t happen. Coffee is only in the lobby limited hours. Fees for everything (although that’s every hotel in Hawaii now) I can’t help but feel meh, borderlines disappointed, with my stay here. I’ll be trying somehwere else next time.

Updated and convenient, walkable to ocean, dining and shopping. Fridge filled with for-purchase drinks, but no freezer or microwave. So, had to purchase hit water for tea at on-site cart. Bed comfy, but pillows too big. Pool hours restrictive and no spa.
