We loved the property, size of rooms and balcony. Don the Beachcombers restaurant served excellent food, and the Mai Tai’s super delicious. The pool area was perfect for a few hours of sun. Definitely would go back for a stay!!

Away from everyone but won't miss fun
This is a second time staying this hotel. While the building may be older, the inside and inside of the room has been very comfortable. The view from the run is excellent from both partial and full ocean view. Farmers market, bar, restaurant, ABC store, everything is in walking distance and feels safe to do so. Great place to stay

Located in the best oceanfront location. Unfortunately, the hotel’s main building where I stayed, is old and tired and needs renovations. The restaurant in the lobby has a stellar location, but the dishes are pretty staid and unimaginative. I do fully appreciate that their daily hotel rates represents the overall situation there, and on that basis, it’s an affordable option that’s acceptable.

The restaurant was closed the entire time. I was pissed. Instead they had everyone eat at their Sport Bar which meant that single guys (like me) ended up sitting at a high table in the bar. I didn't pay resort prices to sit at a high table in a sports bar. DO BETTER! Plus, they are woefully understaffed which meant ALL THOSE PEOPLE were trying to eat in one restaurant that is understaffed. Wait times were regularly 30 minutes. More staff means more seating means lower wait times. Again, BE BETTER! It's just managed in a way to make as much money as possible off of a captive audience. I don't appreciate being squeezed for my hard earned cash while I'm at a RESORT on vacation. The people/ the staff are great and they are their only saving grace because the management is terrible. I will NOT be back.

We had an ocean view room on the 2nd floor. We left the balcony room door open a bit at all times so that we could hear the waves crashing on the rocks outside the room. It was so peaceful and the view from the balcony was just amazing. I could have watched the waves all day long.

So I knew going in that there was some construction going on , what I didn’t realize is that it involved jack hammers going all day every day .. it was so annoying not even the waves could muffle the noise at the pool .. can you imagine the room noise .. awful.. I was warned but not to this degree
