The negatives are no elevator , we had to carry luggage up to 2nd floor. Many people younger than us could not do that, and we weren’t told there wasn’t one. No smoking room? Ours smelled of smoke. Bathrooms need updated. Other than that, decent room, giving it 4 stars.

This is an old motel. Biggest problem was is the water isn't purified. It's WELL WATER! Tasted like iron and smell of sulphur. Toilet, sink and shower were brown stained. And we were a large wedding party. 3 we're nauseated and had explosive diarrhea. Some went to casino to take a shower where others stayed. I thought minimal standards are to at least have a filtration system when using well water. A.C. had a whining bearing that when the compressor kicked on, it sang. Difficult to sleep with that shine. Free breakfast was ok but we all laiat the bacon. It was so paper thin and crumpled while taking a bite. We'll never stay here again but all future stayers need to know this important issue. THERES NO ELEVATOR! So you have to use stairs to get up to second floor. If Expedia were smart in reading these reviews I'd drop this facility from it's site.

The rooms are old and outdated the toilet i originally thought housekeeping didn't flush the toilet because it appeared to be urine still in it but after flushing realized the toilets are old and just look like this will never go back!

The room was clean, towels and bedding white and thick. Bed was comfortable, drapes blocked out the bright lights/sun. Breakfast offered many choices and was very good. Stairwells, hallways and shared public areas need updating: Carpet stains, wall scuffs, dingy lighting and such.

Layout of hotel was difficult to navigate. Finding my room was a challenge since there were so many hallways. Parking was convenient, but the parking lot needs repair. Close to casino, if that's your preference. Free breakfast was a plus, with lots to offer, by way of food choice. Rooms were clean and comfortable, only wish there were larger TV screens.

Hidden Gem

Front desk staff was very welcoming and let us know all the basics about the property and the path to the casino/shuttle schedule. Room was spacious and clean, comfortable beds. Was staying here for a wedding 30 minutes away. Breakfast ladies were constantly refilling and cleaning tables and counter areas. Would stay again, nice hidden gem.

Overall, this is a nice property. My only hesitation to give a 5 star rating is the persistent cigarette smoke odor. Though this is a non-smoking property, it is adjacent to a casino. After a four night stay, I suspect the odor may be from casino patrons staying in the hotel. Just a guess.

Nice weekend to escape

Comfortable stay, had a great weekend. Breakfast was amazing. The restaurant attached to the hotel was freaking amazing too! Shuttle to and from the casino if you decide to party a little too Hardy. Great time, will come back!

Wonderful Staff, rooms need a little work.

The staff is wonderful and I recognized several faces, just the rooms need a little work. The sheer blinds were ripped and one was longer than the other. Oh, and I swear the toilet had urine it it when we arrived, but my husband said it was the well water, we disagree. Overall good stay , great staff and excellent breakfast.
